In this video, I'm sharing with you 9 essential Kajabi features that you may have missed, and this is especially true if you are brand new to using Kajabi. But even if you've been using Kajabi for a while now, I bet you have missed at least one of these. Starting with number 1, we have SEO optimization. Inside of Kajabi, under the website tab, we have the blog tab, and when you create a new blog post, you can scroll down and you will see SEO and sharing. This is where you can create a custom URL, and this link you can share with anybody, you could just copy it, send it over wherever you want, put it in the emails, etc. But down under that, we have the page title, and it says here, give the page a clear and accurate title in 60 characters or less. So this is what's cool about Kajabi, they give you a little bit of a guideline. If I copy a long title here, you will see that they put a big red box around it and say, wait a second, don't do that, keep it under 70 characters or under 60 characters, ideally no more than 70 characters if you wanna have a better SEO ranking blog post. And the same is true down below with your page description. What's even cooler than that is when you scroll up and it has blog image. So here you can add an image that you can add to your blog, whatever you wanna do, put it there. Inside that image you can add an image alt text or attribute, and when you hover your mouse over it, it says describe the purpose of your image. This will help with SEO. This is where you can use a popular keyword for whatever type of blog you are building. The next essential Kajabi feature that you may have missed is the spam prevention when sending emails. When you're sending an email campaign, whether it's a broadcast or an email sequence, any sort of email, in the subject line, if you add a spam word, for example, like limited time offer, you will see that it tells you avoid using the following spam trigger, limited time offer. This is incredibly helpful because sometimes you don't notice if you're using spam words, but Kajabi is going to notify you if and when you do happen to use a spam word or phrase, and they say, don't do that, it's gonna better help you. So Kajabi has your back in terms of spam prevention. You can always look up common spam words and phrases to best avoid in your emails as well with a simple Google search. The next essential Kajabi feature that you just might have missed is the cart abandonment emails feature. To access your cart abandonment emails, we're gonna go down to the Settings tab and then over to Email Templates. From here, you can have a huge list of different email templates that are all starting out by default, but you can customize each one of them to customize the look and feel of your brand. For example, cart abandonment emails. Click here on Edit, and you can change up the entire cart abandonment email that you want to send when people land on your cart but maybe are hesitant to buy, so they leave. You can decide when you want this cart abandonment email to be sent and what you want it to say. Next up is the Kajabi feature where you can add quizzes inside of your courses. To do this, we're gonna go to the Products tab, down to Courses, and then pick any course you want to add a quiz to. From here, you can go up to Add Content and decide on adding a quiz. Inside here, you can change up the look and feel, the questions, the responses, etc., that you want to add to your quiz. Decide if it's multiple choice, checkboxes, a short answer, or a file upload as well. We'll click Short Answer and Hit save. Got it. Just in this example, publish. We'll go back to my sweet mini course, and down here you can have the quiz. So let's say that halfway through your course you wanted to have a quiz where you test the knowledge that they have learned so far in your course to make sure that they're actually engaging, that they're following through with it. And you can create unlimited quizzes. You can have a quiz after each lesson or module inside of your course, and it really helps with retention and course completion. Rates. By the way, if you want to take advantage of a free 30-day trial of Kajabi to play with the platform yourself, you can use my link profityourknowledge.com/kajabi. This is an affiliate link, so I get a small percentage of your investment in Kajabi, but there's no extra cost to you compared to if you went through Kajabi's website yourself. Next up, we have online course completion certificates. To add a certificate to your online course, you just have to click on courses, pick the product that you want to add a certificate to, and in the top it'll say certificates. From here, you can decide if you want to provide certificates for this course. You'd have to do this for each individual course that you create, is check this box. Unless you happen to duplicate a course, it should already have it checked, but always double-check that you have this turned on so you know that you're sending certificates. From here, you can customize the entire look and feel of what your certificate is going to look like, and you can preview what it looks like as well and when you want it to be sent. Over here with email templates, if you click on that, It'll take you back over to that email template spot where we talked about cart abandonment emails, and you can scroll down to course completion certificate. And from here you can customize what message you want to have be sent to the person when they fully complete your course. Number 6 on our essential Kajabi features that you might have missed are coupon automations. First, we need to create a coupon, so we'll go to the sales tab, down to coupons. From here you can create your first coupon. This feature is really helpful if, let's say, people finish your course and because they completed your course, they got to the last lesson, you wanna automatically send them a 50% off coupon any other product that you have in your product suite just to congratulate them for finishing a program and buying a program from you in general. So we'll call this coupon code HAPPY50 and it's a percentage off. We can decide 50% off and then from here, once, repeating forever. We're just gonna have this be once. No expiration date. We'll hit continue. From here you can decide which offers you want this to apply to, so we'll choose my sweet mini course. We can add another offer. Once you've selected all the different products you want this coupon to apply to, we're gonna hit done. From here we'll go over to products, pick on the product that you want to have this automation be inside of. We'll scroll down to step number 5. This is the last lesson. Once you have your lesson completely built out, we'll go down to automations. From here, when the lesson is completed, step number 5, then what do we want to have happen? We're going to go to send a single-use coupon. From here, pick Happy 50, and then we can decide what we want our message to say. In this section, do not mess with this part right here. You can change all the text that doesn't have these brackets around it because that's going to make sure that they get the right coupon code, Happy 50. Sent to them so they can take advantage of this. And in this message you can say, congratulations on completing this course. As a thank you for signing up with this and using this and actually making something happen with it, I'm giving you 50% off any other product inside of my product suite. It's my gift to you. Just use the coupon code below. And you can always preview this message in your browser or send a test email to yourself. Once you're all done, you're all set up, you can hit save. Coming in at number 7 on our Kajabi features list, we have third-party integrations. To access this, we're going to go down to the settings tab and from here click on third-party integrations. From here you have a huge list of different third-party integrations that are very common, from email integrations down to analytics and miscellaneous. If you can't find one of the tools that you're looking for, you can always create a free Zapier account, which allows you to connect Kajabi to 500+ different apps using Zapier. Just click on connect, and from there you can sign up for Zapier, and Kajabi will give you simple tutorials that walk you through exactly how to set up your Zapier your account to Kajabi. Number 8 on our list is Kajabi University. To access this, we're going to go up to our profile and hit Kajabi University. From here, you will have a huge list of different courses to help you build your first course, build a website, build a profitable membership site— everything you need to learn about building your online business, from marketing, sales, funnel building, traffic, everything that you need. And it's not just from the people who work at Kajabi. This is also from leading experts like Graham Cochran over here teaching you from his own experience how to build a highly profitable membership site. And the 9th essential Kajabi feature that you just might have missed is the email segmentation feature. Under the marketing tab inside of email campaigns, when you're ready to send an email broadcast, most people just run through the different prompts, select your recipients, edit content, and schedule an email. So something I missed for a very long time. Til I got more sophisticated. I had people in different email sequences where I only wanted them to get a certain set of email sequences, but the other people on my list that weren't inside of the email sequence were able to get my regular weekly broadcast. So to make sure that they get that broadcast, I can go down here to all contacts, and this is everybody on your email list, or you can only send a message to your customers if you want to run a special promotion only to them. Kajabi will automatically compile everybody that's on your email list and segment them to different categories. For example, customers only. Where it gets really cool is you can go down to custom segment, you can select a filter, and from here you have many different options on the type of people you want to send an email to. So if you didn't want to send people emails that were inside of a regular email sequence, for example, a welcome sequence when people just opt into your list, you can go down here to email sequence filters, is not subscribed to email sequence, and then you can pick whatever email sequence it is, hit apply, and that is only going to send emails to people that are not inside of this email sequence. And the best part is, if this is a regular thing, you always have new people joining your email list, you can always go to save this segment, and from here you can call it, um, something not subscribe to whatever the email sequence is. That way you know this is a custom segment that is only for people who are not subscribed to whatever that email sequence is, and it's automatically gonna save it right here. And you can do that for as many sequences as you want. Those are my 9 essential Kajabi features that you just might have missed. I wish I knew about all of these when I had first started using Kajabi, and that's why I wanted to share it with you. Let me know your thoughts down in the comment, which one stood out to you. If you're thinking about giving Kajabi a shot, maybe you're on the fence trying out some different pieces of content or whatnot, the bottom line is that you just have to get a hands-on feel yourself to really test it out and see if it is a good fit for you and your business goals, which is why I offer a free 30-day trial if you use my affiliate link for sending people to Kajabi and promoting this amazing, amazing tool that I just love promoting. It's the only tool that I actually affiliate for. I get a small percentage for people that end up signing up with it from Kajabi just for referring someone. But there's no extra cost to you if you decide to use my 30-day link or if you use the 14-day trial from Kajabi's website alone. But on top of your 30-day trial, I'm also going to give you a course I created called Kajabi Kickstart that walks you through in 5 simple lessons how to set up and launch your business for success and build an entire marketing funnel in that first 30 days.
