DON'T Post Daily to Get Clients. Do This Instead.

James Allen argues daily posting burns out creators without driving clients. Instead, batch four YouTube videos monthly, repurpose scripts into blogs and clips for daily posting, and let each piece work for months. He runs a six-figure coaching business on 4-5 hours a day and earned nearly $10,000 during a two-week vacation.

Do you ever feel like you're on a never-ending spiral of posting every day and still not getting clients? I used to believe that creating and posting daily was the fastest way to grow my coaching business. I used to spend hours cranking out content, chasing likes and views, but no matter how hard I worked, it wasn't bringing in enough paying clients to be worth it. When I stopped posting every day on social media, my business tripled. I started running a six-figure coaching business working just 4 to 5 hours a day. So in this video, I'm going to show you why posting daily is actually hurting your growth, the smarter content strategy that I use to get more clients with less effort, and how you can apply this strategy right now to free up up your time and still grow your business. So let's talk about why posting daily is actually hurting your growth. Imagine going to the gym every single day, but you have no plan, you're lifting with terrible form, and you never give your body time to rest. Sure, you're out there grinding, sweating, and putting in the work, but you're not actually getting stronger. You're just breaking your body down. Well, that's exactly what happens when you try to post every single day. You're too focused on cranking something out so you don't miss a day instead of creating something that actually moves people. Also, creating content and posting every day isn't sustainable. What happens when you're sick, tired, or you just wanna unplug and take a vacation? Nobody is 100% on every single day. And if your whole strategy depends on you never missing a day, your business is going to collapse the second that you do. When that happens, your posts get shallow, forgettable, and they don't attract quality clients. The content you work so hard on gets lost in the noise while you are left burnt out, frustrated, and staring at an empty bank account. When you slow down and focus on quality, every piece you publish works harder for you. Your content gets shared more, people watch it longer, and more importantly, it gets people to take action and become clients. Now, just to be clear, I'm not saying that posting every day is inherently bad. In fact, it can be extremely helpful for someone who's just starting out and getting into the habit of posting and creating content. If you're in that stage right now and you're not sure what to post, I put together a free guide with 50 done-for-you viral content ideas. These are plug-and-play title templates that you can use right away to start growing your audience without ever running out of ideas. Just drop in your keywords, hit record, and you've got content ready to go. You can grab it for free right now at the first link in the description, or go to profityourknowledge.com/titles. When it comes to creating content, you don't want to burn yourself out or sacrifice quality just to stay consistent. That's not how you build a strong brand. The goal is to build a system that keeps your business visible without forcing you to crank out something new every single day. But how do you do that? Here's a smarter content strategy that I use to start hitting 6 figures. Earlier this year, I took a 2-week trip to Sweden and Greece with my mom and my girlfriend. We were visiting family, exploring new cities, eating amazing food, and making memories that I will never forget. But here's the part that blows people away. On that trip, I didn't do an ounce of work the entire time. I wasn't posting every day, doing Instagram stories, or hunting for business. But while I was away, my online business brought in just under $10,000. And that didn't happen because I was hustling in hotel rooms or sneaking away to post content. The way I was able to do that was with evergreen content. Evergreen content is the best way to step off the content hamster wheel without your income disappearing from things like ads. You see, most content has an expiration date. A TikTok video, Instagram Reel, or Facebook post is gone in about 24 hours. Meanwhile, things like blogs, podcasts, or YouTube videos live on forever. Without evergreen content, you'll always feel chained to your phone. With it, you'll finally get to breathe and know that your business is working for you even when you're not working. When done right, each evergreen post isn't just a piece of content, it's an asset. Take YouTube for example. Each video that you post compounds on the next and works like a digital employee that finds leads, builds trust, and points people to your offers 24/7. It doesn't call in sick, it doesn't take weekends off, and it keeps showing up and growing your business long after you hit publish. Social media platforms are always changing their rules, but platforms like YouTube give you way more control over your content. That's why I build my coaching business with evergreen content. Every day, people are going to the internet for solutions to their problems. They're not scrolling on Instagram hoping that they'll somehow stumble across your post. They're searching for it on Google or YouTube, and if you're not there, you're invisible. Once you create one strong piece of evergreen content, you can actually use it to fuel your daily posts without burning yourself out. Here's exactly how I do that in my own business. So every month, I batch 4 YouTube videos and write them out as full word-for-word scripts so I know exactly what I'm gonna say when I hit record. This takes a bit longer to create the content upfront compared to bullet points, but it makes recording and editing so much faster. I spend about 2 hours recording my content once a month and that's it. I have a VA who handles the editing and uploading, so I don't need to do it myself anymore. But even if I was on my own, I would still follow this batching method. Each script is built around 3 to 5 main teaching points, and every one of those points can be repurposed into standalone posts for LinkedIn, Instagram captions, or even emails to my list. Or they can be clipped straight from the final edit into short-form posts that can be scheduled every day. Every day. But that's the stuff that I have my VA do. Because I'm already writing a detailed script for YouTube, I take the exact same script, optimize it for SEO, and publish it as a blog post on my site. I'll even strip the audio and release it as a podcast episode as well. So from one piece of content, I'm getting a YouTube video, a blog post, a podcast episode, and 3 to 5 short-form posts, both written and video. And my VA helps with the editing and publishing of the content, which saves me a ton of time. Because of this system, we're able to post every single day across multiple platforms. But the thing is that I'm not to my content anymore because we always stay a couple weeks ahead. I just chip away at my scripts, have one solid recording session, and my business stays visible every single day without burning me out. This isn't about hustling harder, it's about creating leverage. And when you can build a simple system that's easy to maintain, you'll stay consistent, visible, and avoid burning yourself out trying to grow your business. It's okay to post every single day, but you just need to be more intentional about how you're doing it.
