This is a YouTube video titled "How I Use Kajabi to Run a 6-Figure Online Business" (created 2025-04-30, last edited 2026-04-13) featuring James Allen. The content is an instructional, behind-the-scenes walkthrough and promotional presentation in which James explains how he uses Kajabi to run and scale his six-figure coaching and digital-products business. He covers his prior messy tech stack, how Kajabi consolidated landing pages, funnels, email sequences, offers, checkouts and upsells, evergreen opt-in flows, product/plan limitations and workarounds, and his streamlined onboarding (checkout → coaching agreement via Jotform/DocuSign → Voxer setup → course access → booking). He also details traffic sources, email automation triggers, and pricing/offer structure for high-ticket coaching, and discloses an affiliate promotion for Kajabi (3 months for $99) bundled with his course and a one-on-one coaching session. The piece is both educational (how-to/system walkthrough) and promotional.

I run a 6-figure online business working less than 20 hours a week, and Kajabi is the engine behind it all. In this video, I'm going to show you exactly how I use Kajabi to run my 6-figure coaching business, from selling digital products to enrolling high-ticket clients and automating my entire backend, so you can see how to do it yourself. I built this system myself over years of trial and error. It's gone through many different iterations, and now I have it very simple and it's very repeatable. If I want to build a new product or a new page or anything like that, It's pretty much just duplicating pages at this point. But this system is what allows me to wake up to random sales, serve my clients without burning myself out, and scale my business without hiring a huge team. So whether you're a coach, a course creator, or an entrepreneur who's just tired of duct taping 10 tools together to run your business, showing you a behind-the-scenes look at my business will give you a clear path forward. Now, if you're not already a member of Kajabi, right now is the best time to sign up for Kajabi because they're offering 3 months to use the platform for just $99. Normally I'd offer a 30-day free trial, but the only thing about the 30-day trial is that you can't start making money until you're done with your trial. With this, you get 3 months for just $99. You pay it upfront and you can start making money because you already paid for access to the platform. Now I am an affiliate for Kajabi, so if you use my link, I do get a little commission and I really appreciate you for that. But in return, I'm going to give you a course I made on how to earn your first $10,000 using Kajabi. Basically everything you see inside of this video, This video is broken down step by step so you can see exactly how to build every piece of it yourself, how the automations work together. And I also give you my landing pages and sales pages that I've built and tested over the years so you can just plug them into your Kajabi account and change up the copy. Using this course is how you're gonna start making money as soon as possible using Kajabi so you're not wasting time trying to figure this out on your own. And on top of that, you also get a private one-on-one coaching session with me where I'll answer any questions you have or help you come up with a really solid strategy to start earning on Kajabi as soon as possible. I can't promise I'll offer these calls forever, but right now they are available. So if you wanna get 3 months to play with Kajabi for just $99 on top of my course and my coaching, click on the first link in the description and you can get started today. Now before we get into exactly how I use Kajabi in my business, I think it's helpful for you to know where I was at before I used Kajabi. When I started my online business, my tech stack was a complete mess. I was using GoDaddy for my website, ActiveCampaign for email. I was using Vimeo to host my online course videos, ClickFunnels for sales pages, and then trying to duct tape it all together with Zapier. My first course was literally built on a Google Doc that just had the titles, and then it would link to the Vimeo video. And I was paying an insane amount each month for the tools, but also the bandwidth to host my course on Vimeo. Not only was it confusing for my students, but it was stressful for me, and I was just paying way too much to keep it all together. I knew I had great content, the drive, and the vision, but behind the scenes, it felt like everything Everything was falling apart. And I remember thinking, if this is what running a business looks like, I don't know if I want it. But then I found Kajabi. I was able to have one platform with one login and password with everything that I needed for my website, landing pages, funnels, emails, my products and automations, everything I needed to run a coaching business or a knowledge business in one place. That meant no more duct taping, no more broken tools and broken automations with these tools that say that they connect well together, but they don't actually. Kajabi didn't just simplify my business, it gave me back my time. And my life. And really, my business is very simple, and I'd recommend that the more simple yours is, the better. It's really a combination of selling digital products and coaching people privately. One good coaching program and one good online course with an evergreen system behind it is all you really need to start making six figures. So let's dive into my Kajabi account, and I'm going to show you how my evergreen funnels work and what it actually looks like behind the scenes. So inside the website tab, you have landing pages. There's also website pages, but they're not as customizable as the landing pages. And this is pretty much where I build most everything in my business. It's pretty insane. I have 45 landing pages. So with every single product, I have a funnel connected to it. And I like to build this out kind of piece by piece. There is an option in the marketing tab where you can create funnels, but I like to just kind of build each piece individually because piecing them together is really easy. So the first part of any marketing funnel is getting an opt-in. This is my 15 Proven Ways to Find Your Next High-Ticket Coaching Client. It's a really helpful guide, it's really short, but this is something that, you know, if you watch my YouTube videos and I'm talking about how to get coaching clients or find clients or make money fast, this is usually the guide that I'm going to offer. So what happens is whether you click on the picture or here, the button, you're going to have the opt-in page. So I'll put in my stuff, and now when people sign up right here, they join my Kajabi email list. Now this is something that I always teach my students. Don't just say, you know, Hey, thanks for your download. Like the default page is what a lot of people do, or like check your email. That's all they say. What a waste of space because everybody who opts in for your lead magnets is going to land on some page. So why not use that to your advantage and make some sort of offer that's relevant to what they opted in for? Usually people, when they opt in, they are most likely to buy from you because they're excited about what you're offering and it's fresh and it's new. So this is where we're going to have a series of emails, which I'll show you what that looks like in a second. But the first step is have them land on a thank you page that is customized to the guide or resource that they opted in for. So I say, your guide is on its way, check your inbox in a few minutes. But while you're here, let me show you how to land high ticket clients faster. And I have a 2-minute video here where I welcome them and thank them for picking up my guide. But I also transition into a very relevant product that I have called Convoes to Clients. So when you click on this, it's going to go over to my sales page. And this is all highly relevant to the thing that they had opted in for, which is the 15 Proven Ways to Find Your Next High-Ticket Coaching Client. See, when somebody opts in for that, they're like, yeah, that's what I want to do. Now I have a course that puts it all together for them and gives them all the resources, the templates, you know, everything that they really need, done-for-you templates, like all of it is packed into this awesome course, and then they can click here and be like, you know what, I like what he said in that video, I like what's on this page and what the offer is, so I think I'm gonna pick this up. I mean, $97, are you kidding me? And that gets them into my world as a paying client much faster. Now I'd be lying if I said that every single person who opts in picks this up, that's just not the case, But what happens is that they get introduced to my offer much sooner, and then they also have a series of emails that are going to come out over the next week. Each day they're gonna get one email, and it's gonna just teach them more about finding high-ticket clients in this case, or, you know, growing their business and how to actually do it. Meanwhile, it's gonna keep pointing them back to this course and add value. Yeah, it's really simple in terms of the actual layout for the opt-in page. You can see Kajabi does this. They build it all out in blocks. So it's all under a hero block. But when you click on the hero, you have a bunch of different like sub-blocks, if you will. So I keep it really simple. You know, you can't really scroll. It's not some long-form sales page or anything. You can add other sections if I wanted to, you know, build more to this. But you don't need to. You just, you just want people to opt in. That's all you're doing in this first step. The sales page, these are all different blocks that have a lot more you know, context to it. And it's just, it's more in depth for people to decide if they want to buy. But here it's like, hey, this is enough information for you to decide if you want to opt in or not. But yeah, it's just text for the heading, a call to action, and then the image and text right here. You know, you can change the size of your image, which obviously doesn't look as good, but this looks good. Cool. So that's pretty much what every opt-in that I have for every single one of my products, that's what it looks like. And it follows the same flow. Of like they opt in, they land on a page that offers some relevant program or to book a call with me or something like that. And that's how people start making investments in my programs much faster. Now another thing I'll do is if we go to the sales tab, you can go to offers and see all the different offers that I have. Kajabi gives you unlimited offers, which is pretty cool. You have a limited amount of products, but you have unlimited offers. Very important distinction. You can make offers and checkout pages as much as you want. And link things to different products. There's a lot of things you can do to kind of work around limitations that Kajabi could give you, like a limit on the amount of products that you have, for example. But with every checkout page, you can, uh, this is where like you have the same exact checkout page like we have here. You can add upsells as well. Uh, you can add multiple different upsells, but I like to just have one. And the whole thing here, if you think about the flow here, it's like they opted in for the 15 proven Proven ways to find high-ticket clients. They get a course or offered a course on how to fill up their calendar and start actually getting clients, you know, and just make this more tangible. Cause I show 'em in the guide how to find clients, but not how to enroll them. It's just, hey, here's how you can find your next high-ticket client. And then now they're like, okay, well what do I say to get people onto a call? Like all that kind of stuff. And I give 'em a little bit of that inside of my guide. But this course teaches them everything they need to know. It pieces everything together for them, and that's the difference. When they land here, they're gonna fill out their stuff inside of the checkout page. They're going to automatically land on this page, which is my upsell, and this is about effortless income, which is how to create digital products and, you know, do— build this system essentially is what I'm showing you. I go into way more depth on copy, you know, the psychology, like all that kind of stuff. So they get a discount if they pay right now, or they can say, no, just take me to Convo to Clients, not a big deal. And basically on this upsell, I'm saying, okay, thanks for picking up Convo to Clients. That, that's gonna serve you well. I guarantee it's gonna help you get more clients. Uh, the thing is that as you start getting more clients, you're probably gonna get to a point where you're just on a lot of calls and you want to create automations. You want to have a digital product or a mid-tier offer for people. That's what this course teaches you, and right now, only on this page, you can get it for $200 off. So it's an obvious next step and add-on to the program that they had just bought, and that's the key to creating a really seamless evergreen funnel. Now, in terms of the email sequence in between, we can go to marketing and then email campaigns, and you can go to type and click sequences. And these are all the different email sequences that I have for people. So Convo to Clients email sequence, it's like brand new. That one's actually just kind of getting started. But yeah, Effortless Income, Profitable Podcasts. These are all the different products that I have. And if you click on one, you can have different triggers for people. So based on whatever the lead magnet is that's relevant to this email sequence, I am going to cause that to be a trigger. So when somebody opts in for this form, which is, you know, the one social media post I used to earn between $10K to $20K a month as an online coach, It's a video training. Then they are going to go through this entire email sequence over the span of a week. And then you have unsubscribe triggers too. If somebody purchases the course that I'm selling in here, then it unsubscribes them for this. So for example, let's say they get to the third email and they decide, you know what, I'm going to buy this course. They don't need to get the rest of my emails that promote my course. So you can cancel them and have this all automated working in the background. And Kajabi just makes it really easy. To be able to do this. And the way I drive traffic to my lead magnets and my offers is by being on podcasts. I have a podcast myself. I also make YouTube videos and I have a blog and I'm creating content that is answering my target audience's questions in terms of like, how do you create digital products? Um, how do you find coaching clients? You know, that kind of stuff that my people are typing in. And then the obvious next step is pick up my lead magnet. And then it's like, oh, here's a program that teaches you how to do everything, and it gives you the resources to help you along the way. And then there's some email sequences just in case people don't pick it up right away because, you know, life is busy or they're like, hey, I opted in for the thing, I saw the course, but I had to go do this thing and I forgot about it. That's where the emails come in to share stories, give insights, and share client student testimonials and results and that kind of stuff, and then point people to the product. So I have a number of different courses that are constantly selling for me, and that's how I wake up to like random sales. Throughout the week. But the big thing that's really helped me make 6 figures is my high-ticket private coaching. Now inside of Kajabi, you have a list of different products. I'm on the growth plan, so I get up to like 15 products. If you're on the basic plan, you get 3, and if you're on the Kickstarter plan, you only get 1. Now there is a workaround, because if you are like, I really wanna use Kajabi, but all I can really afford right now is the Kickstarter plan, which is like the lowest plan, I think it's $89 per month, which is a steal of a deal. You can start building your audience and, uh, you can have one course that's like your mid-tier offer. But a workaround that a lot of people don't talk about is that you don't need to offer your coaching inside of Kajabi. There is a product option where you can create a coaching program, but I do not do this because it takes up one of my product slots and I just don't want to deal with that. So I have a very streamlined system behind the scenes on how I actually coach my clients, and it doesn't require being on Kajabi. 'cause I was coaching clients before I was ever on Kajabi, okay? So I had to figure this out earlier. But I use Kajabi to create a better ecosystem and client experience for my private clients. So here's what it looks like. Inside of my offers, I have, you know, a couple different pricing options for people. Let's say we do the 3-month sprint. There's a paid-in-full option, but let's check out the checkout page, okay? So what happens is I meet people, you know, I'm at a networking event or, they find me on YouTube or online and they're like, hey, I wanna work with you, I wanna book a call with you. So we sit down on a call and I have this really simple checkout page and it's a one-time payment of $4K, at least at the time of this recording. Then I can go into this checkout page and I would just copy the link and send it to them inside of Zoom 'cause that's where I do my meetings. And inside Zoom they can open this page up And they can put in their stuff and decide if they wanna do 3 payments or if they want to do a 1 payment option. And then they say complete my purchase. And now I'm processing payments inside of Kajabi. But the really cool thing and what helps me do my seamless onboarding process, 'cause I did so many things with onboarding process, I used to offer like a 15-minute call and we'll just kind of COVID a couple important things. Ended up being like 45 minutes to an hour just answering people's questions and all this. And I'm just like, dude, this is— it's too much. So I went through a lot of different iterations, and I'm going to show you what I do now. But basically, when people go through this checkout process, it's all paid, it's all processed inside of Kajabi. So it helps with like taxes. So I know exactly how much I made for the year and the month and everything. But down here, you can decide products in this offer. So because we're not doing Kajabi or we're not doing our coaching program as a Kajabi product, we can have an online course like on the Kickstarter plan. And that online course is basically your private coaching, but just in a self-paced course form. So with people who sign up for you privately, you can give them your course as a part of that. So I have a couple different courses, but I'll give people access to these courses when they sign up to work with me privately. And it's just an add-on. And also it's helpful because I can refer them to the course content as like homework in between our calls. Okay. So they're going to get these courses, but here's the cool thing. Post-purchase, what happens after people purchase this thing? So this high-ticket coaching, I have them go to a step 1 coaching agreement and I have my onboarding process that they go through automatically. So all I had to do was be on the call with them. And, you know, sell them into the program. And I send them my checkout page and the rest is taken care of and they go through and just book their next call. Let me show you what it looks like. If we go over to website, we can go to landing pages, 'cause again, I build most everything inside of landing pages. And up here, I'll type in step 1. So I have a couple different packages. There's a $5K or a $10K to work with me depending on, you know, how long we're gonna work together and how in-depth and how hands-on you want me to be. Okay, to keep this seamless, let's say they signed up for one payment, $4K, give them a little discount, then we're gonna go over to, let me open this, but I'll also click right here. So then they're gonna go through my step 1 of 4 coaching agreement, so I have 4 steps. And they'll click here, coaching rescheduled, they'll watch this really short video, you know, it's a minute long, and it's pretty much just saying, hey, thanks so much for signing up for my program, I'm incredibly pumped to be your coach and to help you build your online business or work on this thing with you. Uh, below, click here to sign up for the coaching agreement. And they click on this, opens up in a new tab, and I use a tool called Jotform, or you can use DocuSign as well, or whatever you want to use. But it goes through my coaching agreement and then they go down and then they can put in their first name, last name, signature, and sign this. And as soon as they sign it, I get an email notifying me that, hey, someone just signed their coaching agreement. Awesome. So I know this is working in the background. When they finish that, they're gonna go click here and move on to step number 2. All this does is point them to another landing page, and it's exactly the same as the first one. I just duplicated it. So it's a text, a video, and then 2 buttons. So this one is about Voxer. It's a walkie-talkie app. It's free, and I use it in between my coaching sessions with people to give them a really good experience and be supported with me. We can get a lot done in Voxer. So in this video, I show them how to connect with me and how to use Voxer, and if they don't have an account, how to set it up. Again, 2-minute video, really simple. They click here, they go straight over to my Voxer account where they can start sending me Voxers right away. All right, really, really cool. Once they've done that and I get a Voxer, I'm like, okay, cool, they're using Voxer. We go on to step 3, and this is where they can access their courses. So again, I show them, I show them, click here, you can log straight to Kajabi where they get their course like I showed you. And then step 4, they click over, again points to another landing page. You get unlimited landing pages, so use 'em as much as you want. Then they get to book their first session. So pretty much just congratulate them, say, hey, thanks so much for doing all this, you're a rockstar, you're already making progress, and they feel like they are making progress by going through this step by step. Then they'll click here and they'll go over to book their first coaching session. With me. All right. And that is my simple onboarding process. So they get the checkout page, go through the onboarding process, book their call, they're set, and they can take care of that in, you know, 10 minutes. And then we're all good and we can start voicing each other until we have our first call. And then on that call, then we will decide what's going to be our weekly rhythm that we do for calls. And then I'll go in and create a Zoom meeting because I just host it in Zoom. Okay, but that is really essentially like what I do to create a 6-figure coaching business in Kajabi. Again, if that feels kind of overwhelming, just watch the video a couple times. And if you're using Kajabi, I mean, you know, you get familiar with how do you build landing pages and all that kind of stuff. It is really simple. It's just how do you piece everything together. And if you're new to Kajabi or just getting into it, or you're like, hey, I'd love to build this thing, again, click the first link down in the description and get started right now for 3 months at just $99. You can start making money money right away. I'll show you how to start getting coaching clients and earn your first $10K in Kajabi, but also how to create your first digital product and working with people and create this evergreen system.
