James Allen argues online courses should prioritize transformation over length. A focused curriculum that moves students from point A to point B builds confidence better than information overload. The goal: as short as possible, but long enough to actually change something.

More content doesn't equal more value. People would really rather have a shorter course to get the job done. An online course is a compact step-by-step system that helps someone get a specific result. For example, if you help people lose weight, you want to get them from point A to point B the fastest way possible instead of just throwing overwhelming amount of information to them. It's going to be overwhelming. People want transformation, not just information. And that's why keeping it short, getting them a specific result as fast as you can, giving them the information that they need, but more importantly, making them feel like they can actually do it. And having a shorter course is actually great for that because it's not as overwhelming. As short as possible, but long enough to experience a transformation.
