The same exact amount as if you went through Kajabi's website. So to take advantage of your free trial and a couple extra goodies, just go to profityourknowledge.com/kajabi, or there's a link in the description as well. So this is the Kajabi dashboard, and what you want to do is just go over to marketing and then email campaigns right here. This is what you're gonna see when you're just getting started. Create your first email campaign. We just want to go to Get Started. Then you're gonna have the option to choose between a broadcast, which says a single email to promote a product, share news, or stay connected. These are like your weekly emails that you would send out to your list. And then you can create an email sequence, which is a series of emails that can be triggered by an automation. So let's start with an email broadcast. We'll click on that and we'll go to Continue. Now, making a broadcast, they're gonna give you a list of templates to choose from. Where you can choose a newsletter style. If you want to make an event announcement, you can do that. And they have a ton of different templates that you can choose from to change the colors in. You can change the format of what the email looks like and so on. Now for me, my personal favorite is just to keep it simple, and I like to use the simple text. So we click on this, it shows you an example of what it looks like. You either keep browsing or get started, and we'll just call this Test. So once everything is good to go, it will show you the amount of subscribers that you have down here. And you can click on this tab, you can choose only members, uh, to your courses if you have, or you can do all the people that you have. You can also create a custom segment. Keep things simple, we're just going to click All People, and we'll go over to Save and Continue. Now from here, starting at the top, it shows you the internal title. So that's what we called this email, which was Test. And you can make that whatever you want. As it says right here, this is the internal title for the email broadcast used in reports. It will not be shown to recipients. The only thing that will be showed to recipients is the subject and the preview text. The preview text, if you want to know what that is, it says this is the text that appears after the subject in the recipient's inbox. Now we're sending emails, especially from a business perspective. We don't want to get sent to the spam folder. That's like our worst nightmare. Our goal is to get inside the inbox and make people want to click with the subject subject line. What's cool about Kajabi is that they give you guidelines to make sure that you're not coming off as too salesy or that your subject line isn't too wordy so that it's more likely to be opened. For example, if you use all caps and said something like BUY MY STUFF, it'll tell you capitalize less than 50% of the letters because if you did that in the subject line, it would most likely get sent to the spam folder. Now also, if we just wrote a bunch of gibberish, It'll tell you try not to use too many punctuation marks. And then if you write a subject line that is just way too long, it'll give you a pointer that says try using fewer than 50 characters. It looks better on mobile devices. And a great way to move past this if for some reason your subject line needs to be that long is that you can always highlight the back end, copy it, and paste it into the preview text. So the way that people would see this in their inbox would be why you should always open my emails, and then underneath that would have the preview text. It says because they are super awesome, because they are Now when we scroll down, we can edit the content from inside of the email. Now from here it shows you preview text that you can edit. You can change it up. You can click right here to have a full-screen view, add headings, etc., etc. What's cool too is you go over here to add section on the left and you can add a logo where you can click right there and When you set up in Kajabi, it automatically saves your logo, so you can change the width. I usually just do 0, make it a big logo, and I keep that up to the top when I send my emails. So it's my logo, then it gets into the meat of the email, and at the bottom of our emails, it's good to have a call to action depending on what your email is. Sometimes you're just dropping some knowledge. So let's say that you create a blog post, a YouTube video, or a podcast every single week and you just want to keep your email list in the loop. You can send a preview of what that episode was about or the contents of what's inside the episode, the main— maybe the 3 major points or things, or one thing that they're going to learn inside that podcast, blog, or YouTube video. And then down here you can have a button, and this button you can have them click to go see the YouTube video, read the rest of the blog post, or they can listen to your podcast as well. And when you click on the button You can just type in whatever URL you have. You can even go to download a file, go specifically to a checkout page if it's more of a promotional email that you're sending, or you can go to a landing page and then click on whatever landing page you have made down here. With the button, you can also change the text of the button, and you could have it say something like, read the full blog post here, and you can change the colors. You could change the button text color. You can make it outline or solid. The thickness of the border, you can make it small, medium, or large. And you could change the radius of the border. You can make it centered, left, right, and you can do a bunch of fancy stuff inside here. Or you could just delete it. Maybe you didn't want that button to be in there at all. Feel free to delete it. And you can add even more stuff. You can add social icons, gives you a little preview what it looks like. You can add a video, countdown timer, which does have to be linked to an event, divider, text, image and text, image and image. You can do a ton of fancy stuff. So once you've built out your email, you've created a subject line, maybe some preview text, which you don't need to do. Subject line is something mandatory that you will have to do. You can always save that email as a template, or you can send a test email to yourself to make sure that everything looks good. When you're done with that, your subject line, everything's set up, you go to save and continue. Obviously, you will have to have some people on your email list through a couple opt-ins and things like that, and then you can send that to them. Now, I'm using my Kajabi partners tab, so I'm not giving away any personal information. But when you get to this point, you'll be able to schedule the email out however far you want it. If you wanted to create a series of broadcasts, maybe for a product launch, we'll say, you can schedule all your emails out inside this last section, or you could send it out right then and there. Now we go back to the email campaign setting. You can go over to get started again. So we just checked out email broadcast. Now we want to check out email sequence. Click on that, and we can call the email sequence whatever we want to call it. So we'll just call it test. And go over to continue. Now from here again, you can choose whatever template you want to use. You can mix and match for your email sequences. Again, I just like to use the blank one, the simple text. Go over to get started and we can call this, we can call this Sequence 1, or I spelled that wrong. We can just call it Email 1. Go to create. Now in here it looks a little bit different. Everything is pretty much the same. The biggest difference is that it tells you what day, and as it says here, This email will be sent 1 day after someone subscribes to this sequence. So when somebody gives you their email address, it's going to activate this sequence when you hook it up. But you can change this number right here. You can go up, you can go down. Day 0, it says this email will be sent immediately after somebody subscribes to this email sequence. Or you can always just type in whatever day you want, or you can type in whatever day you want this email to be sent out as soon as somebody puts in their email address. So once that's saved, because it's not a broadcast, it's going to just save this email sequence. To find the rest of the email sequence, we go over to email campaigns, and then right here it'll say test one email over 50 days. So that's our sequence right there. You can also go up here to sequence, and it will show you your one sequence or all of your sequences as well. Now what's cool in Kajabi, it does show you how many sends this email sequence has sent out. It shows you the open rate who's clicked on it, the percentage of people that have clicked on it, and the percentage of people that have unsubscribed. So if we click on this, it brings us to this page and we can set this up one more time. Let's say that we want this email to go out immediately when somebody subscribes. Now in this page, we are able to make adjustments to whatever that sequence is. We can go to add a new email and we'll call this one email 2. Now it's automatically set for day 1, but you can always change this down again to day 0, or if you want this to be sent out 2 days after that initial email was sent, you can do that as well, or 3 and so on. So let's say that we want to make a 5-day welcome sequence for someone who just opted in to get our lead magnet. That last email that we made is getting sent out immediately when somebody puts in their email address. So this will be the second sequence in that 5-day sequence, and we'll just make sure that it's day 1 so that it'll be sent 1 day after somebody subscribes to the sequence. We'll save that. And as you can see, email 1, email 2, it's immediately when somebody opts in for a lead magnet or to get on our email list. And then day 1 is the next day after somebody has already been on the email list. And you can add new emails and you can keep going down this run for as many emails as you want. It could be a 5-day email sequence, a 7-day, a 15-day, a 90-day email sequence, or every day it's sending them emails. Basically, signing up for the 30-day trial is the best way to really test this for yourself and actually learn the platform. But if you want to learn more about Kajabi, check out this video that I did on an overview of the entire software, going over each tab individually.
