Hey guys, Ramit here. Hey listen, I had quite the experience tonight. Supposed to do a webcast. I emailed a bunch of you guys and I put it on the blog and it's about 11:35 right now. We finally figured out and diagnosed what happened. So I wanted to let you know. So the webcast was supposed to start at 7pm Pacific. 6:50 or so I logged in, Matt logged in, he's helping me out with the webcast and everything looks good. Around 6:55 I went to the blog to post where we were going to host it and everything had slowed to a crawl. Within one minute we were flooded. This is at 6:56, to tell you the truth. I looked at the stats. I was getting more traffic than I got when I was on the front page of Yahoo.com we had people accessing it more than once a second. Totally flooded the server, shut it down. We couldn't do it. So I was communicating via Twitter and as you can imagine, I was not happy. We did manage to get a few hundred people on the webcast, but I'm expecting that a bunch of you guys who wanted to get on could not. So what I want to do is a couple things. First of all, I really apologize. We're going to be getting someone to help out on the server side. I didn't realize how many people would come and. And I've never had that kind of traffic before, so I guess it's a good problem to have. The other thing is I'll be redoing that psychology stuff. So I talked about five psychological techniques so you could control your own finances and other parts of your life. I'll be doing that again another time. Just give me a little while to get my server stuff fixed. And finally, I just wanted to share something with you that happened on the webcast. So, you know, we talked about the psychological techniques, we talked about, we did a lightning round. I answered people's questions. But the most interesting thing for me was that we were talking about the boot camp and I got a lot of questions that were saying things like are you going to have new stuff besides your book in here? Are you going to have a lot of new material, etc. And the answer is yes, there is going to be new material, entrepreneurship, etc. But the common thread was that it's this manifest destiny fallacy that are you going to have new things? What's the new material I need to read? What is the newest topics out there, whether it's in magazines or blogs or anything. And the fact of the matter is this is something that we delude ourselves into doing, which is let's always look for the next best thing out there when really we should be saying, you know what? I have all the information I need. I don't need more information to get started. The most important thing is to use what you have instead of always looking for some mythical thing that's going to be out there tomorrow. What's that blogger going to write? Is he going to give me that magic bullet? No, you have what you need. Whether it's using my Boot camp, which is all about, like taking what you have and actually taking action, or you do it through another book or whatever. We've got two months before the end of the year. Try to make it last so that you can start 2010 off fresh. So anyway, that was the key, most interesting thing that I found last night was this manifest destiny fallacy. But other than that, like I said, I'll be doing another webcast. I'll probably be doing a lot of them as soon as I get this server stuff fixed. So thanks for your patience. I really apologize if you couldn't make it last night, but I will do more, so don't worry. Thanks again. And I'll be in New York next week doing some media stuff, some tv. I'll tell you more about that later, maybe over the weekend. So talk to you soon. Thanks.
