Hey guys, it's Ramit Sethi from I Will Teach youh Be rich. Well, in November 2008, I launched something called the Save $1,000 in 30 Days challenge. And where I gave you 30 tips over about 30 days, showing you how to cut costs, earn more, and optimize your existing spending so you could save $1,000 in 30 days. Well, it turned out to be hugely successful. Not only did the blogs of the Wall Street Journal and MSN Money and Lifehacker cover it, but but people actually saved thousands and thousands of dollars. And they did it in ways that were using some ordinary tips that they knew they just needed a little nudge. They also found some of the tips that I suggested to be brand new. I showed people how to optimize their cell phone spending or optimize their car insurance. I showed people how to save $2,000 on eating out. And the tips really, really worked. So about halfway through that, I thought I got to do something to keep these tips going. So today I am thrilled to announce something called the Scrooge Strategy. It's very simple.
