Now, for a lot of these socially awkward freaks who watch my channel, they feel awkward talking about money. They don't feel awkward talking about what to do this weekend or pickleball. But money. One of the most prevalent topics in our entire lives until we die. Oh, that's so weird. Ramid. But over time, especially if you're in a relationship, it creates a wedge between you two. It's kind of like silently resenting your roommate for not paying their fair share when you go out to eat. Or like marrying someone and only later on discovering they have $35,000 in credit card debt. Here's what I want for you. Before you turn 30, I want you to have at least one real money conversation. Not small talk, but a real substantive conversation. And this could be with a friend about are you both investing? Or how do you handle rent or student loans? It could be with a partner about how you really want to pay off debt. And here's the plan you've created. And what do they think? The first time you talk about money substantively should not be when you are signing mortgage papers or paying a huge amount for a wedding that's way too late. This one talk can change how you handle money forever.
