Peanut Business Wiki

Ramit Sethi and colleagues show how Pbwiki solves everyday business problems. Christine replaced email attachments with wiki pages that auto-notify on updates. Jim uses it for brainstorming, meeting notes, and searchable how-to guides instead of scattered documents.

My name is Ramit Sethi, I'm one of the co founders of Pbwiki. And what we've discovered through a bunch of customer research is that businesses have very similar problems, whether they're small mom and pop shops, all the way up to large enterprises. There's just too much email, there's email overload, there are problems sharing documents. Who has the latest revision? We just don't know. And frankly, businesses just want a secure and easy way to share information so that people can access it from home, but they know it's secure. So what we're going to do today is take you on a little tour of how we use PBWiki in the office to keep our information secure but accessible from everywhere.
My name is Christine, I work at Pbwiki and I have found Pbwiki to be great for my document sharing. Instead of attaching it an email and having to do with loads of revisions from all of my colleagues, I simply put it on the wiki. And I know every time it's updated, the wiki notifies me. And I know when I look at the wiki it's the most up to date version. It's fabulous.
My name is Jim, I'm a system software engineer here and we use the wiki to brainstorm about projects and share and save them on the wiki and get together in meetings and write up a cohesive plan. Follow up meetings aren't really needed because anyone can go to the wiki and look at the plan. Small tasks like printing on Linux, which can take a long time originally, are easy to throw up on the wiki and then anyone can search and find out how to do it themselves.
So we have tens of thousands of businesses that use Pbwiki anywhere from Accenture to Mom and pop shops, and they're using us to share their information and keep it secure. But let the people who need to know know and you can get your own wiki and try it out at PBWiki.
