What do you wish you had looked for when you were dating? I don't think the answer is that obvious. Yes, physical attraction and sense of humor, shared values. But my wife and I were talking about one value we wish we would have looked for, and that was resilience. Resilience, meaning life is going to knock you down one way or another. Maybe somebody gets sick, maybe you have any kind of challenge in life with your career, whatever. What are you going to do when you react to that? And resilience is not really something you can test for. Like, when I think back, I'm like, how would I even have looked for that? Maybe we would have traveled and something went wrong and I would have seen how she reacted and she would have done the same for me. But that's something that I honestly just got lucky in the way that Cassandra handles difficult situations. What would you have looked for when you were dating that is not obvious? I'm curious.
