Short spoken excerpt from a YouTube video by Ramit Sethi arguing that living a "rich life" requires defining what "rich" means personally and designing your life accordingly (e.g., traveling three months a year, owning an old car to afford organic groceries). He notes that personal choices may confuse others, but affirms that it’s your life, not theirs.
But in order for you to live a rich life, you have to understand what rich means to you personally. The more you design your rich life, maybe it's traveling three months a year or driving an old car so that instead you can buy organic groceries. It's whatever you want. The more you turn that dial and really personalize your rich life, the more other people around you are going to look at you in a confused or even bewildered way. That's okay. It's your rich life, not theirs.
