A short excerpt from a YouTube video conversation (host Ramit Sethi and guest Jake) exploring Jake's aversion to wealthy people and how that attitude might influence his relationship with Hannah and shared financial goals.
Jake, what's this thing about you not liking rich people? Is that true?
Yeah. Not all of them.
I'm rich.
I know you seem chill for a rich guy, but often people lose their important values for money or with money.
This feeling you have, how do you think it affects your relationship with Hannah and money?
I think Hannah wants to be. Wants both of us to be wealthy together.
And what do you feel about that?
I don't necessarily want exorbitant. And I think that is maybe our biggest issue and maybe why we're here.
