I follow three simple rules when it comes to choosing a credit card. Number one, don't accept offers from anyone that sends you mail or any retail stores like Gap and Old Navy. You do not need to sign up for a retail card to save 10% on your jeans. Number two, squeeze every reward you can out of your credit cards. Did you know your credit cards offer you all kinds of benefits like these below purchase protection, travel insurance, and so many other services that people don't know about. And number three, once you have a couple of good cards, move on with your life. You do not need to have 10 million different cards for 500 different reasons. Pick a couple good ones and then get on with your rich life.
