In this introductory video, Randall F. Dean explains the structure of his "Taming the Email Beast" program for Microsoft Outlook users. He outlines three primary learning routes: (1) two 75‑80 minute video modules—one for Classic Outlook (a webinar replay) and one for New/Web Outlook (a fresh recording); (2) a set of longer "Mastering Microsoft 365" videos that compare and contrast the two Outlook platforms, helping learners decide which version to use or whether to use both; and (3) daily lesson‑plan documents that break the longer videos into 25‑40 minute segments for easier, day‑by‑day consumption. Dean also mentions supplemental materials—a companion ebook, bonus handouts, and a complimentary AI Copilot video covering Gemini and ChatGPT for time‑saving email tips. He encourages viewers to contact him via email with questions. The overall message is that the program offers flexible, modular learning options to improve email management skills across Outlook versions, with added AI productivity tools.

All right, hi everybody, Randall F. Dean here. Hey, um, wanted to make a very quick video for those of you taking a look at the Taming the Email Beast program to explain to you, um, this is the program for people that are using Microsoft Outlook and want to get better at managing their email. And I wanted to explain to you that there's a couple, three different ways you could go through this program. I've actually got the program opened up in the background from like a student's perspective. So this is what you're going to see when you get inside of this. And as you'll see, there's a couple, 3 different parts here. Now, the first part is basically the 75-minute videos that I've created. Uh, one for classic Outlook users is actually a replay of a fairly recent webinar. The other one, I did a full complete recording for new and web Outlook users. And these are, you know, about 75, 80 minutes in length, and each one is very specific. This one's for new and web Outlook users. This one is very specific for classic Outlook users. And if you know you're just going to be using one of these two versions, you watch that video. I mean, if you'd like. Now what's interesting is I've also thrown in my ebook here, which sort of works alongside of these programs, and you'll also have um, some related bonus handouts that are built in that, um, support what you're watching here with these videos. But I also want to show you that what I've also done— many of you know I've been working on my Mastering Microsoft 365 intensive video series, and the first 2 videos of that series I've actually put in here also. And they're a little bit different in format. They're quite a bit longer than the videos that are above because they cover both platforms, classic Outlook, new web Outlook together. And sort of the way I'm looking at this is that these videos are really good if either A, you're trying to figure out which version should you use. You can sort of watch this and see pros and cons of each, or should you maybe consider using both? That's what I'm doing. I'm actually using a little bit of both. I'm still using classic maybe a bit more than NuWeb, but there's certain things that I know NuWeb does better than Classic. And so I'm sort of jumping between the two. And if you go through the— these videos, you will have the opportunity to basically do that compare and contrast, as well as identify the features in each version that might be better than their counterparts in the other version. And I will tell you, there are some things that Classic still does better than NuWeb, but there's some things that Nuon Web does better than Classic. Okay, and then the other thing that I've done with these is I've actually created what I call daily lesson plans. And there are documents for each of these two videos that allow you to basically watch these videos in about 25 to 40 minute segments. And it sort of walks you through where you start the video, where you stop the video before you go to the next day. And that way, if you're trying to break it down, because I know you you know, a 2-hour video. It's a bit much to ask people to maintain their attention. If you're wanting to make this a bit more of a manageable learning experience for you or your team members, this is the option that I would probably recommend that you consider is the 25 to 40 minute session and maybe even have it playing on screen too with your hand on the pause and rewind button, which frankly I would say maybe you should be doing in any of these videos that you're watching. And as a little reminder, I've also thrown in for people that purchase this Taming Email course, um, a complimentary copy of my Copilot video, um, how to use AI Copilot, a little bit on Gemini, a little bit on ChatGPT, um, how to use these to enhance your productivity. And part of the reason I wanted to make this part of the program is because it starts with a few really important time-saving email management tips using AI that are not as deeply involved in the previous videos that you see above. And so I hope this sort of paints the picture for you. You've got your, you know, new and web Outlook 75-80 minute session. You got your classic Outlook 75-minute session. You've got the ebook that you can use as a supplement to your learning. You'll have coordinated and summaries for all of these. Or you can go, if you're trying to do that compare and contrast and/or, you know, figure out if you're going to be using both at the same time, you can pop down to these mastery videos where I go quite a bit deeper and maybe share a few more tips even. But I also have it in a way that you can break it down into a much more manageable amount of content to go through on a normal daily basis. And I hope that this really helps you take what you're trying to what you're trying to do with managing your inbox, managing your email, and do it so much better. This will really help your skill set. And so thanks for watching this little intro video. I hope this makes sense to you. Of course, if you have any questions, just send me an email, randy@randalldean.com, and I can hopefully answer the questions and tell you a little bit more about what I've put together here. Thanks everybody. Bye now.
