In this video, Randy Dean, the "Email Sanity Expert," demonstrates how he leverages AI tools—Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and Gemini—to quickly compile an alphabetized contact list of state chapters for a national professional association. He explains the business rationale: after completing work for two state chapters, reaching out to other chapters can generate additional revenue, but manual web research is time‑consuming and costly. Dean walks through his workflow: starting with a Copilot prompt to generate contacts up to the letter F (using the free version), then switching to ChatGPT to finish the remaining alphabet. He notes the speed advantage (minutes versus hours) and discusses the limitations of the free Copilot tier, prompting his decision to upgrade to the Pro version for even faster results. The video ends with a call to like, subscribe, and watch a related video on using AI to draft a thank‑you email, while promising more AI‑productivity content in the future.

Hi everyone, Randy Dean, uh, the Email Sanity Expert here. As many of you have seen, I have started delving into the productivity benefits of using AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot. I wanted to share with you an example of how I use these tools to save a ton of time and hopefully enhance the profits of my business. I have recently done work with two different state chapters of a prominent national professional association. One thing I've learned in my 20 years of business is that once you do work with multiple organizations in the same segment or industry, you should then reach out to the other firms and organizations within the same industry. They will likely have an interest in your services too. But spending time personally searching the web or spending money paying for a contact list that may or may not be up to date reduces your speed and productivity on a task like this. But this is the kind of task that is perfectly suited for an AI tool like ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot. Quickly gathering and assembling information that you know is somewhere out there on the web, but would take you quite a bit of time to find and gather yourself. I started my research with Microsoft Copilot, and here is the chat prompt that I used to create my contacting list. Can you please create an alphabetical list of the state chapters of insert national association name here with contact information? In seconds, Copilot generated a very nice alphabetized list up through about the letter F. It did take me a few separate prompts to get that far with Copilot using the free version. I then jumped over to ChatGPT and completed the queries for the rest of the alphabet and states. These tools did in minutes what it would've taken me likely a couple hours to do myself. And I'm pretty sure if I had the pro version of Copilot, it may have done the entire thing in seconds because the free version somewhat limits your results and the number of prompts that you can give. Seeing how much time this can potentially save me on tasks like this, I am in the process right now of upgrading to the Pro version of Copilot from Microsoft. And that is just one way of how you can save time and enhance productivity and profits using AI. If you like videos like this, please like, subscribe, and share. I'm planning to create many more videos in coming months on how I am using these new AI tools for enhanced time-saving and productivity. I will give you a link at the end of this video to the video I made just a few days ago about how I used AI for the composition of a thank you email for a coworker. Once again, I'm Randy Dean, the Email Sanity Expert, and now maybe your copilot on Copilot.
