In this devotional lecture delivered at Mayapur, Gopal Krishna Goswami commemorates the 150th appearance day of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur. He recounts the auspicious signs surrounding Bhaktisiddhanta’s birth, including a garland falling on his neck and an extraordinary horoscope, and highlights his prodigious early spiritual abilities such as memorising the entire Bhagavad‑Gītā by age seven. Goswami describes Bhaktisiddhanta’s extensive temple‑building activity (64 temples) and his role in revitalising pure Gaudiya Vaishnava teachings. He narrates Bhaktisiddhanta’s first meeting with A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda in 1922, noting Prabhupāda’s recognition of Bhaktisiddhanta’s special mission to spread Chaitanya‑yoga worldwide. The lecture also mentions notable disciples – Prasad Raval, a powerful preacher, and Aki‑jana‑sadhu Visakha, the “Lion Guru” who urged Prabhupāda to take the teachings to the West. The talk concludes with offerings of dana and prayers for continued spiritual strength, interspersed with traditional Hare Krishna chanting, followed by a brief response from a second participant.

Hare Kṛṣṇa. Hare Kṛṣṇa. I'll be brief. So Prabhupāda was giving one lecture in England on Bhaktisiddhānta Mahāprabhu's birthday. Prabhupāda started his lecture by saying, "What can I say?" Sāka Paṣyināḍa established pure teachings of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, and he had prayed that Lord may send a representative who will carry forward this message. Vaiṣṇava Sarasvatī ṭhākura was not an ordinary person. He came from Vaiṣṇava. Sāka Paṣyināḍa had reestablish pure teachings, or Chedre Namaphu, and they prayed that Lord Buddha's self would carry the movement forward. In response to the prayer of Thakur Bhagavananda. And when he appeared, there were auspicious symptoms. And Bhagavananda Thakur was a magistrate, and it was a tradition that Prasad RAVAL would stop in front of the magistrate's house. So, on 3 days, the car was there. And Bhaktisiddhārājī's mother took her son, placed him at the feet of Lord Jagannātha, and the garland of Lord Jagannātha fell on his neck. So Bhaktisiddhārājī could see that this child is in response to his prayers, and A soldier made a chart of him. This soldier said that he's never seen such an auspicious horoscope. So from the very beginning, Kibo Takun knew that this child is not ordinary, and he gave him education. He gave him spiritual education and Bhaktivedanta Saraswati Thakur from a young age, he had a very sharp memory. He would memorize everything just by hearing once and he had memorized the whole Bhagavad Gita at the age of 7. Prasad RAVAL was a very strong preacher. The impersonals were especially scared of him. If he would be walking on the left side of the road, the impersonals would be moving over to the right side. Established a pure teaching now. And during his still on the planet. He opened 64 temples, and in the very first meeting with Prabhupada in 1922, Bhaktisiddhanta says, "You will see, this man is special. He is a youth. He is a man who will fulfill all chaitanya-yoga." So, In the very first meeting, Lord Prabhupāda gave out his teachings to the Western planet. So we are very fortunate to be here. Mādhyaḍārañī was known as the walking encyclopedia. And he was very knowledgeable. He was a storage Prabhupāda. And Prabhupāda gave an example. He said, will come. You will have somebody else be present in the room. So we are very fortunate to celebrate the 150th anniversary of his garudī appearance. And Prabhupāda always said, I never felt that I'm away from my sūjyamāṇa. Prabhupāda dedicates the first kṛṣṇa-vibhāgavatām to his spiritual master. He says, "It is forever by divine instruction and the followers with him." So, Aki-jana-sadhu Visakha was known as the Lion Guru, and he spread Krishna consciousness all over India, and he instructed Prabhupada. To take this teaching to the Western countries. On this day, we offer our dana bhat to the Lotus Feet of Bhagavan Sri Swami Maharajji and pray that He will give us spiritual strength so that we can continue to spread our Bhagavan's movement.
