Are there 33 million Gods or only ONE?| Rus-Split | BG 7.20 | 28.1.92 | Gopal Krishna Goswami

In this extended lecture Gopal Krishna Goswami expounds on Bhagavad‑gītā 7.20, clarifying that the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Krishna, is the sole proprietor of the universe while the 33 million demigods (devas) are merely administrators appointed by Him. He explains the nature of material desire, why material‑seeking souls turn to demigods, and why true seekers should surrender directly to Krishna. The talk is illustrated with multiple scriptural stories – the demon who misuses Shiva’s benediction, the thief who tries to steal Krishna’s opulences, and the Bhrigu‑Vishnu‑Brahma‑Shiva episode – to show the limited, dependent power of demigods. Practical guidance is offered on sadhana discipline, non‑mechanistic devotional practice, and the importance of enthusiasm in book distribution. An inter‑faith perspective is presented, emphasizing that religions should be judged by results (development of love of God) rather than doctrinal superiority. The lecture concludes with organizational analogies (devotees as an army) and encouragement for continued collective effort.

Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa. Hare.
Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma, Rāma, Hare, Hare. As in the audience today we have the regular devotees and many guests who may be coming here the first or second time, we will also explain some of the fundamentals that are being explained in this verse. Because many points devotees can easily understand, but guests may have difficulty in understanding. This verse is being spoken by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa. In this verse, Kṛṣṇa is pointing out that those who have unlimited, those who have material desires, they worship the demigods. Some of you may be wondering what is the meaning of demigod. All of you have heard of bhoga, God, but demigod will imply half God. Yes, the demigod really means half God. In other words, Kṛṣṇa is the Supreme Lord, but there are many administrators who are in charge of different departments of material nature. Just like in any country, you may have one president or prime minister, but you also have many ministers in charge of different departments. Or just like in running a commercial enterprise, you may have one managing director, and many managers in charge of different departments. Or even in running our ISKCON temples, you may have a temple president and G.B.C. and many different department heads— person in charge of kitchen, person in charge of sankirtan, deity worship, and so on. So similarly, for running this vast universe, there is one Supreme Lord, and there are many administrators who are known as demigods. And these demigods are in charge of specific areas of responsibility. Just like there is one demigod in charge of sunshine. His name is Vivasvan. There is one demigod in charge of rain. His name is Indra. Then there is one demigod in charge of moon, air, and so many other different, so many different branches. Now the demigods have been given this position because of their devotion to the Lord. Just like in a material situation, if somebody works very hard in a company, then he gets rewarded and he becomes a manager or something. So demigods are administrators who have been given this responsibility because of their attachment and austerities and devotion. How many demigods are there? Sto snayaṁ. So there are 33 million demigods. Just see how big Kṛṣṇa's cabinet is. Even when you had the Soviet Union and all the republics, the total number of ministers must not have been more than a few thousand. Even if you were to count the ministers in every country of the world, they would not come to more than 100,000 or so. But Kṛṣṇa has 33 million ministers helping Him. So you can imagine how powerful and vast God's empire is. Now the demigods are not independent of the Lord. They are all part and parcel of the Lord. Just like in your body you have hand, legs, eyes, ears, but all these different organs, they are all parts of the body. You can never say they are independent of the body. So similarly, the demigods are part and parcel of God. This information may not be there in the other revealed scriptures because the Vedic scriptures give the most complete information about God and His creation and the living entities. So, so there is, so the Vedic scriptures give us complete information about the different administrators of this universe. Sometimes when you have less intelligent people, they think the demigods are independent of the Lord, but the demigods are never independent of the Lord. So Krishna is explaining in this verse that those who have material desires, they approach the demigods. Actually, this verse of the Gītā that we are discussing today is a very, very famous verse of the Bhāgavad-gītā. Prabhupāda has lectured on this verse umpteen number of times, and almost in every lecture Prabhupāda used to quote this verse. So this is a very, very famous verse of the Bhāgavad-gītā. Now, in your country, because people were not exposed to Vedic culture in the past, knowledge of demigods is not very strong. So from that angle, your people are very fortunate. But in countries like India, where people have had exposure to Vedic culture, they can't differentiate between demigods and Supreme Lord. So from that angle, people there are unfortunate. Our spiritual master Prabhupada used to give a story. He used to say that in Germany there's this very famous school for learning how to play piano. So when you go to enroll in that school, The first question they ask you is whether you know how to play piano. And if you know how to play piano, then you have to pay very high fees. And if you didn't know how to play piano, you have to pay lower fees. Because if you know how to play piano, they have— they first have to make you forget the wrong technique of playing that you know. Whereas if you don't know how to play piano, it's easy to make you start from the beginning. So that is the problem. Sometimes people who have exposure to Vedic culture They misuse Vedic literature and they start to think that demigods and Supreme Lord is all one. So demigods are empowered administrators who derive all their power from the Supreme Lord. In the Ādi-līlā section of the Caitanya-caritāmṛta, it is explained, eka-lai īśvara-kṛṣṇa-ārṣa-bhṛtaya, which means Kṛṣṇa is the only proprietor and everybody else is His servant. So what is the meaning of material desires? Very often in our Krishna Consciousness lectures, you keep hearing the word material desire, material desire, material desire. Just like, um, just like in a battle, the army wants to kill the enemy. Our enemy is identified as material desires. Krishna has identified material desire as the greatest enemy to spiritual advancement. So meaning of material desire is desire independent of Kṛṣṇa's desire, or desire that is not conducive for spiritual advancement, or putting it bluntly, sinful activity. So the living entity in the absence of spiritual knowledge has sinful desires that he has inherited since times immemorial. Since times immemorial, we've gone through so many different species of life. But in every species of life, we've had material desires that keep on multiplying and multiplying like mushrooms. And in the absence of spiritual knowledge or spiritual association, one thinks that satisfying material desires will lead to happiness. But Krishna explains, and the great sages have confirmed, that satisfying material desires is not going to give one happiness. Generally, material desires are in the areas of sex life, wealth, intoxication, gambling, meat eating. And it is commonly understood that these are the sources of happiness. But the great sages confirm that these are not the sources of happiness. Rather, these are the causes of bondage and misery. So Krishna is saying that those who have material desires, they don't come to me, they go to the demigods. Why? Because they think the demigods will very quickly satisfy these material desires. It is a fact that material desires are quickly satisfied by the demigods because they are not ultimately interested in the salvation of the individual from the cycle of birth and death. It's just like some— so the material— the demigods get pleased very easily, and sometimes they give benediction that is even harmful to themselves. Just like once upon a time, there was a demon who worshiped Lord Shiva. So he worshiped Lord Shiva, made big sacrifices. Lord Shiva said, "Why do you want? Why are you going through all these sacrifices?" He was offering the flesh from his body in the fire. He said, "I want a benediction." So he obtained the promise from Lord Shiva before he could tell him what benediction he wanted. So the demon prayed, Please give me the benediction that wherever I place my hand, that man's head will burst open. Lord Shiva said, Ah, how can I give such a benediction? It sounds like a very dangerous benediction. But he had already given a commitment that he was going to grant the benediction. A Brahmin does not go back on his word. So with great hesitation, Lord Shiva gave him the benediction that wherever he places his hand, that head will burst open. So as soon as the demigod got the benediction, as soon as the demon got the benediction, he started keeping, taking his hand towards Lord Shiva's head, and Lord Shiva ran because he didn't want his head to get burst. This demon was very powerful, so wherever Lord Shiva ran, the demon ran behind him. Eventually Lord Shiva was heading towards Narayana. Krishna is the cause of all causes because he resides in everyone's heart. Īśvara-sarva-bhūtanam hirdēśa rājṇa teṣṭhati. So Lord Nārāyaṇa knew why Lord Śiva was running from the demon. So Lord Nārāyaṇa disguised Himself as a simple brahmācāri, and Lord Śiva came running, "Save me, save me, this demon's trying to kill me." So, and right behind Lord Śiva came the demon. So the Lord brahmācāri Nārāyaṇa told the demon, Why are you chasing Lord Siva? He said, I want to place my hand on his head, but he keeps running away. So Lord Narayana then inquired from him, how did he get this benediction that he could place his hand on anyone's head and the head would burst open? So the demon gave the whole background. Then Lord Narayana said, please don't take Lord Siva's benediction seriously because Lord Siva sometimes gives benedictions that don't work at all. Since Lord Shiva had a quarrel with his father-in-law, he has been speaking a lot of nonsense words. So don't take his benediction seriously. So the demon seemed to be convinced by the brahmachari's words. So the brahmachari told the demon, why don't you try it on yourself? When you try the benediction, when you experiment if this benediction will work on your head, you know it won't work. And when it won't work, You know that Lord Śiva has bluffed you, and then you will have complete reason for killing him. So the demon was convinced, and as soon as he kept his hand on his head, his head burst and he died. So we gave you this story in brief just to tell you that demigods very easily give benedictions that are ultimately detrimental even to themselves. And this story also proves that even the demigods are dependent upon Lord Nārāyaṇa, Kṛṣṇa, the Personality of Godhead. Kṛṣṇa is the Supreme God because He possesses nothing but pure goodness, but the demigods are not pure goodness completely. You want to hear another story? Okay. In India, when you go to these spiritual discourses, all the people do is stories and no philosophy. But Prabhupāda's presentation style was more philosophy and less stories. Of course, the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and the Vedic texts are full of stories. Prasad Raaval. So once there was a big discussion going on amongst the sages, who is really the Supreme God, Vishnu, Brahmā, or Śiva. So it was decided that the great sages had selected Bhrigu Muni to visit these three personalities to ascertain who really possesses the quality of goodness to the greatest degree. So first Bhrigu came to Lord Brahmā, his father. So according to our Vedic civilization, when one meets the spiritual master or a spiritually inclined father, one should offer respects first. I especially use the word spiritually inclined father because if you go and offer your danda bāsa to your materialistic fathers, they won't even understand why you're doing that. As it is, they think you're crazy, but if you start offering danda bāsa to your materially inclined fathers, then they'll really think you're crazy. So Bhrigu, when he went to his father, he didn't offer any respects. So Brahmā got very angry that his son has come and he hasn't offered him respects. So he was getting ready to curse him, but then he said, "Oh, after all he is my son. Let him go." Then Bhrigu went to Lord Śiva. Lord Śiva was absorbed in meditation. Lord Śiva's body is usually full of a particular special type of dust. And when Lord Śiva saw that Bhrigu was coming to meet him, So he got up from his meditation to go and meet his brother. So when Bhrigu saw Lord Śiva coming towards him, Lord Śiva came like this to embrace him, but Bhrigu said, "No, no, no, get out, your body is full of dirt, I am not going to touch you." So Bhrigu got very angry. No, I am sorry, Lord Śiva got very angry. And Lord Śiva was getting ready to curse him. Then his wife Parvati said, "Oh, let it go, he is your brother after all." So then, then Bhrigu went to Lord Narayana. He went to Viṣṇu. Viṣṇu was lying down and Goddess Lakṣmījīs were all around. So Bhrigu went over there and kept his feet on the Lord's chest. So when Lord Viṣṇu saw that Bhrigu has kept his feet on his chest, he said, "Oh, how fortunate I am! Brahman's feet are touching my chest." He said, "Thank you very much." So Bhrigu went back to the great assembly and he gave a report to all of them about his experience with Brahmā, Śiva, and Viṣṇu. And they all concluded that Viṣṇu possessed the quality of goodness to the greatest degree. One commits offenses through three different mediums. One is through the mind, the other is through the tongue, the third is through physical action. So Bhrigu with Lord Brahmā committed the offense of the mind. With Śiva, he conducted the— he displayed the offense of the tongue by speaking harshly. And with Viṣṇu, he committed the offense of physical action by placing his feet on the Lord's chest. So there's so many other stories in the scriptures that confirm this one point that we are making, which is Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Lord, and the demigods are subordinate to Him. So Kṛṣṇa in the Bhāgavad-gītā through many verses is pointing out that one should surrender to Him rather than the demigods. So Kṛṣṇa says, "Even if you have material desires, come to Me." Why? Because even if you have material desires, if you go to Kṛṣṇa, eventually you'll get purified. But by going to the demigods, you'll not get purified. Kṛṣṇa says, "Four types of pious people come to Me." One who wants dengue, one who's in distress, one who's inquisitive, and fourth is the genuine seeker of knowledge. But all, all these four are to be considered pious. Because by surrendering to Kṛṣṇa, by approaching Kṛṣṇa, eventually Kṛṣṇa will suck the material desires away and only pure desires will eventually remain. Kṛṣṇa is like the sun. The sun can even evaporate stool and urine from the earth. And purify it into pure water. There's rain which falls from the clouds. What is that rain? If I tell you what it is, you may get a shock. It is all water from the earth— stool water, gutter water, urine water— that the sun evaporates and releases it in purified form of rain. So if the sun can purify contaminated urine and stool water into purified water, why can't Krishna take away your material desires if you surrender to him? I'll tell you one more spiritual story. So just like we're having a spiritual discourse here, in India it's very common people have spiritual discourses in which thousands of people attend. So one of the, uh, one of the members in the audience was a professional thief. Well, you have professional thieves going to temples even in your country. Well, we hear a lot of our shoes are getting stolen now, so there must be some thieves somewhere. In India it's very common to get shoes stolen from temples because some people just go to temples to steal good shoes. So this professional thief was listening to a lecture, and in the lecture the speaker was describing how Kṛṣṇa is in possession of 6 opulences to an unlimited degree. How the lecturer was describing Kṛṣṇa's body is full of gold and diamonds. And he's just a young baby, so to steal from a young baby is not difficult. It is so easy. So the speaker said, this young baby whose body is full of diamonds and jewelry is loitering in the courtyards of Vrindavan. So this thief said, okay, now I'm going to go to Vrindavan to rob this young boy of all his wealth. So the thief was traveling to Vṛndāvana and meditating constantly, "When I see this young boy, how I will talk sweetly with him and rob him of his diamonds," and all that. So finally the thief reached Vṛndāvana where he saw Kṛṣṇa face to face. When he saw Kṛṣṇa face to face, he saw that Kṛṣṇa's body was full of all these diamonds. So he told baby Kṛṣṇa, "Oh, you are so sweet." Can I take these, can I take these diamonds from you? So Krishna is all purifying. Doesn't matter what your desires are, Krishna says, come to me. And by coming to Krishna, gradually one will get purified. So as Prabhupada explains in the commentary of this verse, the demigods, those who worship the demigods, they do not know how to realize the goal of life. Therefore, one who's intelligent doesn't go to the demigods. He goes directly to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Because He knows whichever benediction even the demigods give is actually coming from the Lord. Therefore, there are 10 offenses that we avoid in chanting the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra. And the second offense is to consider demigods to be equal to or independent of the holy names of Kṛṣṇa. So this verse is explaining that those who have material desires, they go to the demigods. But Kṛṣṇa is advising That one who's intelligent should really come to Him. Obviously all of you seem very intelligent, that's why you're attracted to Kṛṣṇa's message. And if you surrender to Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa promises complete protection and real protection. No one can protect you in the material world. Your wealth cannot protect you, your nuclear weapons cannot protect you, your army cannot protect you, but the Supreme Lord can protect you. And the process to surrender to Kṛṣṇa is to follow the instructions as revealed by Guru-sādhū-śāstra. Hare Krishna.
Hare Krishna.
I just want to speak for 2 minutes on one other topic that I was asked a question when I was meeting with the Bhaktivedanta Institute founding members. So one of the members who were present in the meeting with me said, when you go out to preach, you get criticized by the Christians and others about— they say, why are you distributing this Krishna conscious message? And so on. Of course, this question is not being asked for the first time. We hear this question all over the world by everyone. So our position is that we believe in following real religion. The Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam says, phalena parichit, you judge the strength of a religion by its results. It does not matter which— the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam doesn't say that religion A is better than B, B is better than C, or C is better than D. Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam only says, judge the strength of a religion by its results. By that it means, see the degree to which the individual is developing love of God and the degree to which he's giving up sense enjoyment. So we are not interested in arguing with people that A religion is better than B or so on. We're just interested in presenting to people the real meaning of religion. Just like when you're diseased, you don't care whether your doctor is Jewish or Catholic or black or white or brown. You just want your disease to be cured. So similarly, when you want to develop love of God, you just take the process that can practically help you to develop love of God in order to show Krishna consciousness supreme. We are not interested in putting down other religions, but we're just interested in explaining to people what is real religion. Okay, Prabhupada. So I'll take on questions only for 5 minutes, 10 minutes. Tomorrow also I'll give a program like today. And then I will be back in Moscow on February 11th and 12th.
Can you ask for— can I ask the demigods to help me to serve better Krishna?
Yes, that you can do. If you want to approach the demigods, just approach the demigods so that they can help you in spiritual advancement. Just like in Nectar of Devotion, Prabhupada says one can approach— one can worship Lord Ganesh because Lord Ganesh is the seed of spiritual knowledge, also is a source of knowledge. But for you devotees, you should just focus on Kṛṣṇa. We don't want to start a new trend now that we are all worshiping demigods because we want the demigods to help us to get pure bhakti of Kṛṣṇa.
Okay.
Yes, Mātājī.
On the one hand, Śrīla Rūpa Mahāprabhu used the name Vishnu to identify the Supreme Personality of Godhead. But on the other hand, it is used in the role of such demigods as Brahmā and Śiva. How can be it is correctly understood? Say that again. Yes, that on the one hand Vishnu is Supreme Personality of Godhead, but on the other hand it is said like it is maybe on the equal level with Brahma and Vishnu because he is a—
Actually, there's no difference between Krishna and Vishnu. When God is engaged in pastimes with his devotees, he's known as Krishna. When God has to take charge of the creation, he becomes Vishnu. In other words, Vishnu is Krishna, but Vishnu when he goes to work. When Krishna is at home with his devotees doing lila, then it is Krishna. When Krishna has to go to work, then he becomes Vishnu. Like the same man at home may be dressed in ordinary clothes, but when he goes to work, he dresses up in very formal clothes. So the, uh, I said Vishnu, Brahma, and Shiva because many people in many parts of the world who think that these three personalities are all equal. That's why the comparison was made.
When Prabhu falls down, when Krishna pulls him, what is Shikha? And what can Krishna do when the Mataji falls down?
Actually, the— no, it's a good question. There's nothing to laugh about. Well, the matajis have a natural seeker, whereas the prabhus have to artificially create a seeker.
Suppose one is afraid of death and he wants to perform sacrifices to protect himself from death, whom should he worship in this case?
Actually, this is a very good question. Ochin kar shava prabhu. Because everybody is scared of death, but people do not know how to become death fearless. Everybody is scared of death, but death is scared of one person, and death is scared of Krishna. So you just have to take shelter of Krishna. Once you take shelter of Krishna, then living or dead, you don't care because you're just interested in serving him. Okay, Ruskii. Prasad Raaval, God is Ruskii, is he? Yes, we've got the soul in association with this material body, gets, gets affected. But by the process of devotional service, the purification begins. One last question.
During the morning class, you told that we should improve our sadhana. And how can we make our sadhana non-mechanistical? And how can we improve it? Non-mechanistical. How can we improve it?
Well, you improve your sadhana— first of all, I must explain what is the meaning of sadhana so everyone can understand it. So sadhana means following a certain discipline. Prabhupada says in Bhagavad-gītā, Kṛṣṇa consciousness has to be executed as if it is military discipline. So discipline means to follow certain guidelines. So we follow certain guidelines that we come to the morning program, come to class, come to maṅgalārti, etc. And the guideline has been given to us by the great ācāryas. We just have to follow it. And by following it, we march towards purification. I see that many of you live at home. So even if you live at home, you can practice a strong sadhana, no problem. You just have to follow certain basic standards like you can have Mangala Aarti, if not at 4:30, 5:30, do japa, have a class. So by following this, you will get purified. Okay, Pashlini, Pashlini Vapras. Okay, Vashya Vapras.
What happens with our consciousness when we are asleep, when we are sleeping?
When you're sleeping, you're like unconscious. Of course you're conscious, that is why your heart is beating. And that is why when you're, when you're sleeping, very often you dream, but you're in a stage of ignorance. Therefore, when you sleep, so many passionate desires also develop. That's a reflection of ignorance. So spiritual life means to destroy ignorance. Just like as the sun rises, the darkness fades away. As the son of Krishna rises The darkness of ignorance will fade away. Krishna Surya sama Maya hayandhikara yahan Krishna tahini Maya dhikara. Where there is Krishna, there is no room for darkness. Like where there is sunshine, there is— where there is Krishna, there is no room for Maya. Like where there is sunshine, there is no room for darkness. Okay, so I don't want you devotees to go home too late. You have— many of you may have trains to take and buses to catch. And I know that many of you come back to the Bhagavatam class in the mornings. So we don't want you people to get too delayed. We could go and sleep speaking all night, but it may be inconvenient to all of you. Hare Krishna. One thing is that I saw there were many in the two stations I went to, and before, there many people now selling their rubbish in the metro station. But most of these other people who are selling their rubbish, they just stand behind their tables. One devotee— our devotees have one asset which the devotees have which they don't have, is our devotees have conviction of purpose. So our devotees are convinced that this product is for everyone's benefit. So I'm sure if the devotees are enthusiastic on the spots, then that will create a favorable reaction from people. And enthusiasm. Generally, people get attracted to our books. And I think I told you, even Prabhupada personally told me once that, ah, my books are sold due to the enthusiasm of my disciples. I'll just repeat the story. Um, Tulsi Aarti is at 6:45. No, no, no, I'll finish. Tulsi Aarti is normally 6:45. Okay, okay. So once in Bombay, in a big bookstore, We had arranged a very big display of Prabhupada books in 1976 for one full month, but even after one month not many books were sold. Actually, I had arranged for Prabhupada books to be displayed in the window of the store and in a book rack at the entrance. So I went to Prabhupada after one month and said, Prabhupada, even though we had this big book display, not as many books were sold as I thought. And Prabhupada said, My books are sold because of the enthusiasm of my disciples. And he said, in these bookstore, the salesmen are not enthusiastic. So your biggest weapon— you have two big weapons on your side. One is Krishna, the other is enthusiasm. On the Battle of Kurukshetra, when the two sides were dividing up the armies, the Kauravas had a choice and the Pandavas also had a choice. The Kauravas said 'Give us all the latest weapons and the famous soldiers.' And the Pandavas said, 'We only want Krishna.' So all of you are members of Pandava's family, descendants of the Pandavas. So you have Krishna on your side. So right now we are all being tested, but please don't fail the test. That's all I wanted to request you all. If we remain determined, enthusiastic, slowly, slowly the results will get better. I think when the price went up from 50 rupees to 200, and initially it was like a big shock to everyone. But now devotees are recovering from that shock. Like I was told that some devotees have already started distributing up to 30 books a day now. They went from 100 books a day to 3 books a day. Now from 3, they've come back to 30. Yes, you want to say something? We only have 5 more minutes, so any comments from any samkirtan Maharatis? They're all shy today. Yes, Waffles. Question is, these special devotees, frankly, there will always be some devotees who do more and some who do less. When Sita was kidnapped by Ravan, a bridge had to be constructed for Lord Ram's army to cross over the Indian Ocean. So Hanuman, the leader of the monkeys, He was able to carry big, big stones and throw it in the water to make the bridge. And there was a small spider over there. Because it was a tiny animal, it was just pushing the water aside slowly, slowly. So Hanuman was telling the spider, "Get out! What are you doing? You're blocking the way." But Lord Ram said, "No, let the spider also do its role." So my answer to your question is, some of you will be Hanumans and some will be spiders. But all of you have a service to do to Lord Chaitanya's mission. Therefore, I usually always emphasize the effort, and if the effort is there, then even if there's variance in the results, um, it is, it is, it is, the effort is appreciated. So I think that we can stop in a minute or two because they're going to have Tulasi aarti and then Gaura aarti. Um, in conclusion, I just want to thank all the sankirtan devotees who are members of Śrī Śrī Gauranitāya team from Moscow Yatra for having worked so hard in the Prabhupāda marathon in December. Actually, I'm also very grateful to Kānla Māliya and Sannyāsa for having arranged this very wonderful exhibition of Bhāgavad-gītā poster in every metro station and the, and the films that they showed on television in December. And also Yamraj, your sankirtan supervisor. All of you work together as a team to produce this very nice result. Actually, in Krishna consciousness, we all work as a team, just like an army. Some people are fighting in the front line, in the soldiers. Some people are providing the bombs. Some people are doing the cooking. So they all work together— the Air Force, the Navy, the Army— and then they win the war. So we also have an army. Some devotees are frontline soldiers, like all of you. Some people are busy in the back preparing the bombs that you people will distribute. That's the BBT. And then some people are busy administering the temple and making sure that you cook, you get your prasad and everything, because even an army cannot march on empty stomach. So all these other people are there to help the frontline soldiers. So, uh, I'm sure Prabhupada and the gurus and the whole parampara's blessings are there for all, for your hard effort. As Caitanya Mahāprabhu said, panam vajrayata Śrī Kṛṣṇa-saṁkīrtanam. All glories and victory to the saṁkīrtana process. Hare Kṛṣṇa.
Hare Kṛṣṇa.
Śrīla Gopāda Kṛṣṇa Mahārāja ki. Hare Kṛṣṇa. Śrīla Prabhupāda ki. So we'll have more of these sessions on regular basis from now onwards.
Okay.
Hare Kṛṣṇa. Hare Kṛṣṇa. Hale Krishna, Hale Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare, Rama Rama, Hare Hare, Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna.
