And Lord Balaram is also known as Sankarśa because he was forcibly transferred from the womb of Devaki to the womb of Rohini. So without Lord Balaram, you cannot make spiritual advancement because Balaram is the source for spiritual strength. So we all take shelter of Lord Mahārāja. Because sankrīṣṇa is a spiritual power and the origin of a spiritual life, or the original spiritual master. So what this means is that unless one gets the mercy of the spiritual master, one cannot get the mercy of the Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
