The video records the Netronmilan Utsav at ISKCON Rohini on 16 April 2024, featuring a lively kirtan of Hare Krishna and Hare Rama chants followed by a formal ceremony led by temple priests and organizers. The spoken portion explains that the Prana Pratishta (consecration) and Vastu Yagna purification rites were completed the previous day, and a large fire sacrifice called the Manonmana Shanti Yajna was performed. The central focus is the Netra Unmilana (Opening of the Eyes) ceremony, during which the deities—Sri Sri Radha‑Krishna, Lalita‑Vishakha, Sita‑Rama‑Lakshmana, Hanuman, and the Pancha Tattva—will have their eyes symbolically opened for devotees, a once‑in‑a‑lifetime darshana. Prior to this, a protective ritual called Pratisara Bandha is performed, tying raksha sutras to the deities while chanting holy names, echoing the protective actions of Yashoda. The speakers also give logistical instructions for the audience to sit quietly and maintain decorum in the long hall. The overall tone is devotional, celebratory, and instructional, conveying reverence for the deities and the founder A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda.

We request all the devotees, Hare Krishna, to kindly sit down. Please sit down, don't stand. This is a very long hall, more than 100 feet in length. We request and there are devotees who are sitting there. They need to have darshan of the Deities too. So all of you kindly settle down wherever you are. Please sit down. Don't stand. The second request is, please do not talk. Wherever you are, please sit down. Don't stand. Please sit down. Please sit down. Wherever you are, please sit down. Stop. ISKCON Rohini welcomes you all. Revo! The Prana Pratishta ceremony started yesterday with the performance of the purificatory rites in the form of Vastu Yagna. This morning— yesterday evening, we, meaning the ajamans of this temple and the priests who are conducting the prana pratishtha ceremonies took permission and blessings of our Founder Acharya, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Prabhupāda ki.
Yesterday evening we set up the yāga-sāla And in the Yagashala, we have invoked the presence of all the deities to be installed in this most wonderful, most gorgeous, glorious temple. So all the deities are now present hand, not only in their deity forms but also in the kalashas, the kumbhas that have been installed inside the yagashala. We have performed a very big fire sacrifice in the morning which is called as Manonmana Shanti Yajna. This Manonmana Shanti Yajna identifies that no person of this material world can actually recreate replicate the perfection of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Even though these sculptures are made according to the injunctions of the Śilpa Shastra, it is impossible for anyone to visualize and to recreate the perfection of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. So mana, ulmana— mana means measurements, ulmana means something like saying deviating from the measurements that are there in the scriptures. So begging the God by chanting various mantras. We have asked him, we have begged him, we have prayed to him on behalf of all of you that even though it may not be 100% perfect, he must, he must make his presence completely felt in this, in these deity forms of their Lordships, Sri Sri Radha Krishna, Lalita Vishakha, Sita, Rama, Lakshmana, Hanuman, and the Pancha Tattva. This evening we are going to beg the Lord to open his eyes and then bestow his benign glance on all of us. This is a very most wonderful opportunity. In fact, for many of us because it may be once in a lifetime opportunity to see the Lord the moment he opens his eyes. So this ceremony is called as the Opening of the Eyes of the Lord, or Netra Unmilana Ceremony. Netra Unmilana. Netra Unmilana. The eyes of the Lord and the eyes of the devotees are meeting each other. Before we carry on with the Netra Milana ceremony, we have a short ceremony wherein we will tie the raksha sutras on the right hand hand of all the purusha deities and the left hand of Radhika, Sita Maya, Lalitha, and Vishaka. This is for the protection of the deities. One may think or question How does the Lord require protection? But what did Yashoda Maya do when so many demons and demonesses attacked Krishna? She simply chanted the holy names of the Lord and touched various parts of the body of the Lord, and that's how She provided protection for the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Following in the footsteps of those pure devotees of the Lord, we are also providing protection by simply chanting His holy names and praying to Him to protect His deity form and to protect all of us devotees. So this ceremony is called Pratisara Bandha. It's called as Pratisara Bandhas. So when the curtain opens, you will all have darshan of the deities, but there Jagadguru Śrīla Prabhupāda ki ghor prebanande. The kīrtan can go on, please. Hare Kṛṣṇa. Please, please come, please come.
