Very important message by Srila Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaja

The devotee is anxious to associate with others. We are anxious to associate with Vaiṣṇavas, and we are anxious to glorify Vaiṣṇavas. Not that we are always criticizing Vaiṣṇavas, not that we are going and telling stories of Vaiṣṇavas to the karmis. This is another weakness that we see that devotees are developing. They want to live with devotees and talk about devotees with the karmis. The karmi automatically is thinking that every devotee in the Hare Kṛṣṇa land is a madman. Because otherwise he would also take to spiritual life. And then if we go and criticize devotees to these karmis, this is the biggest offense we are committing at the feet of the Lord. By acting this way, we are totally disqualifying ourselves from ever getting the mercy of the Guru and Kṛṣṇa. It is clearly stated in the Caitanya-caritāmṛta, bhau janma-karaye yadi śravaṇa-ketana-tabhūtana paya-kṛṣṇa-pade prema-dhana. That if you go on chanting and you commit the 10 offenses, then you will not be able to develop love of God. So the 10 offenses must be avoided. So if you are blaspheming those who have dedicated their lives for propagate the mission of the Lord to karmis, then you are also a karmi, worse than a karmi. So this philosophy of going and talking to karmis must be stopped. Otherwise, publicly admit that you are not a devotee.
