What does it mean, friendship? Mutual life, mutual friendship means I help you, you help me in the path of self-enjoyment. As long as we help each other, we are friends, husband and wife, companions. And the moment someone better comes up, we can separate. That's— these are all concepts of mutual friendship. Spiritual friendship means you chant the holy names together, we attend the Dhammatam, Bhagavad-gītā class together, we dance in kīrtans together. Means prashad together, being in service together. We go on preaching together. When Chaitanya Mahāprabhu started the Sankirtana movement, he instructed his associates to go and preach house to house. So Lord Caitanya also sent teams. One team was Haridas and Itinanda together. Imagine, one of them dancing too. So friendship means serving together. So when you meet somebody, even in once, make friendship.
