Jen Gaudet describes how, after 20 years in her field, she reevaluated her skills and began automating processes to reduce errors and increase efficiency. She leveraged technology and now embeds AI across her businesses; AI strategy is a core part of her consulting work for micro-businesses up to private equity firms. Learning and using technology was necessary for survival and fundamentally changed how she runs and advises businesses.

Being somebody who knew I was good from a physical standpoint, because I dealt with this for 20 years and then realizing I really wasn't good. And and that was where I spent a lot of time looking at how can I automate things, how can I catch errors, and how can I make more efficient some of the processes that my team members were not filling some of those gaps. And I leveraged technology to do it. So kind of was like a big a big evolving situation. And now I have a lot of AI leveraged in my businesses. I wouldn't leverage, I wouldn't go into business without asking myself, how am I going to leverage that? And a big part of my consulting is AI strategy for everything from micro businesses to PE firms. So it literally has changed because I had that and because I was forced to leverage technology and learn technology to survive. It's changed how I do business altogether.
