A short monologue by Brad Costanzo (YouTube) arguing that pervasive technology—especially automation and creative AI—can free people from routine work and enable solving larger societal problems, but risks producing an 'inverted bell curve' of skills where a highly resourced, tech-savvy minority advances while many who avoid learning are left behind.

One of the biggest problems society we have, the majority of us are stuck solving small problems. You know, you've got people like Elon Musk out there trying to get us to space and all the things that he's doing with his various companies. But most of us are just trying to get by in the day, and we're not necessarily working on things we love. We're trying to make a buck to pay the bills. And the problem we're trying to solve is a paycheck. But with this, I think it gives us the ability to utilize it as a. As a great thinking and creative tool that will allow us and hopefully our children to solve bigger problems and focus less on the robotic work. Let the robots do the work, and we kind of work in symbiosis with them. Now, that's my aliena optimistic view of it. The downside once more is I think we're gonna have an inverted bell curve of skill sets. I think you're gonna have one side of this, of the population is gonna be highly skilled, have tons of resources, and be able to move quick, whether it's with money or mastery of technology. And you're gonna have all the other laggards who just decided not to even bother to learn because they didn't like it and they thought it was a shiny object they could afford to ignore. And I think those are the ones who are gonna be left out.
