A former pastor discusses how nonprofits can build better financial plans through open conversations about money flow and legacy. He argues that shifting focus doesn't change your mission, just how you steward resources.
Money's got to flow in and then money's got to flow out. It's almost come full circle.
Today's guest is someone that both Rich and I deeply respect. A former pastor, husband, father. He spent time shepherding families spiritually, and now he's helping shepherd them financially.
What's the legacy you want to leave behind? This is what I've been doing. The mission didn't change. It just looks different. You guys always say it, and Nelson said it all the time, right? It all begins with how you think. When the conversations can happen, then a plan can be created. And relationship is key in having these conversations.
