A short transcript excerpt from a YouTube video arguing for balance between individual liberty and cooperative action. The speaker rejects collectivism while advocating for cooperation (e.g., building houses, farmer's markets) and criticizes 'divide and conquer' dynamics—social status, religion, and social media narratives—that emphasize differences and separate people despite shared core values.

Choose your words carefully, say what you mean and mean what you say and I'm not a collectivist by a long shot. I am for individual liberty but I'm also that we could cooperate rather than we don't always have to compete. We could cooperate to put the building up, build the house, the bridge, the farmer's market, the lemonade stand for the kids, whatever it is. So there's a balance that we've missed and I think it's divide and conquer. How many ways can I separate you from your fellow nationality? By social status, by religious belief, by all kinds of things to divide rather than really we all pretty much believe the same and actually most of our core values are very similar yet that isn't what's taught, preached and mentioned constantly on social media. It's more of I've got this and you don't or I'm going there and you won't and that's unfortunate because it separates us rather than brings us together.
