He explains he was asked to review surveyed areas for soil compaction and recommend mitigation to minimize development impact, and expresses optimism about proactive collaboration between companies and landowners.

I haven't done a video in a while and wanted to offer an update and provide a little optimism in the world of reclamation Where I'm going today is out on private land where an oil development and exploration company is working closely with the landowners to survey for new locations to develop and in the process the exploration company wants to ensure that the land is taken care of and has asked that I review the areas in which they have surveyed to see if they've created any compaction and potentially what we can do to mitigate any compaction to ultimately minimize the impact of any type of development that takes place. So in the world of reclamation to me that is a step in the right direction to see exploration companies working proactively side by side with landowners to mitigate and minimize the amount of impact that takes place on private land. And this is some beautiful country behind me so it is neat to be part of the landscape this morning and I hope everyone has a great day. Thanks.
