A sock business turns £3 per pair into £15 selling price, hitting an 80% gross profit margin. February saw £22,000 in turnover with £5,000 to £6,000 worth of stock sold.
make the business work at the moment.
Okay, so let's go, let's go off February because March was— well, actually March had the issue. Yeah, so in February we turned over about £22,000. Um, so, uh, and then, and that would have sold roughly about £5,000 to £6,000 worth of stock.
Okay, and What margin have you got at the moment on your sales?
So it's £3 for a pair of socks and we sell them for £15.
So you buy them in £3, sell them for £15. So that works out at roughly— It's 5x, but— Probably about an 80% gross profit margin actually, which is really quite good at the moment. Okay.
