Timothy Van Matthews, who advises Will Smith and Jay Shetty, says his high-profile clients spend money freely to save time, even on things that don't make revenue. For them, time and money are interchangeable. Most small businesses think the opposite way.
they still have to have a cash flow forecast and a balance sheet which demonstrates there's assets on that balance sheet and that the business is making money.
Yeah. I'm also just thinking about, because I had Timothy Van Matthews on the podcast a couple of weeks ago, and he works with Will Smith and Jay Shetty, and we were kind of discussing what's the difference between people like that versus your average small business. And, you know, one of the things that he was saying is that like they value time more than they value money. So sometimes something doesn't make them money at all, it costs them money, but they want to spend that money because it saves them time.
Yeah.
So they actually value time more than they value an increase in revenue, as an example.
Yeah. So time and money then are equal sort of outcomes then.
