This is a YouTube video titled "How Would You Handle This Culture Issue?" featuring Rob Llewellyn discussing a workplace culture challenge involving a new leader disrupting a previously collaborative and high-performing team. The content is a monologue inviting viewers to reflect and comment on how they would handle the situation.
You've built a brilliant team. The culture's collaborative, people really enjoy coming to work and performance is really strong. But then a new leader arrives, brash, confident, determined to shake things up. Now, at first, it's subtle, meetings take longer, there are a few raised eyebrows. But soon the atmosphere really changes. People stop contributing, resignations stop start trickling in, and morale takes a real nosedive. And the once vibrant energy is gone. Now the leader sees their team as unmotivated, and the team feels undervalued and micromanaged. So what would you do? Would you step in to protect the culture or let the leader find their way? Or something else? Let me know in the comments below.
