Bitcoin and ETH: Have we Bottomed? (Market Update)

In this market‑update video, the creator reviews recent Bitcoin and Ethereum price action, interpreting the latest pull‑back as a healthy shake‑out rather than the end of the bull market. He explains how Bitcoin swept sell‑side liquidity, formed a strong low, and now sits at a range low that could lead to a Fibonacci‑based rally toward $85K and potentially $100K. He outlines two Bitcoin trade ideas: a primary entry near the $55K discount zone with stop‑losses at the strong low, and a secondary breakout‑retest entry above the recent high. The analysis extends to Ethereum, where a similar liquidity sweep and V‑shaped recovery have occurred, reinforced by the recent Ethereum ETF launch. He proposes a comparable breakout‑retest setup for ETH around $2,300‑$2,400, highlighting a “broken‑base” pattern he deems high‑probability. The presenter also discusses seasonal dynamics—October/November historically strong for crypto, Bitcoin season versus altcoin season—and advises buying during Bitcoin season and selling in altcoin season. Finally, he promotes his Alpha trading group and a free masterclass on his step‑by‑step trading strategy.

What's up everybody, welcome back to another video. I do apologize for the lack of uploads last Thursday. I was in the middle of traveling to Paris to watch the Paris Olympics, specifically the men's basketball game. Any of you were there? The game was insane and watching it in person is craziest mind-blowing experience ever. But without any further ado, let's get into this video. So if you remember in the last Bitcoin and Ethereum market update, I mentioned that if Bitcoin failed to hold this area here, it would go to $50K. And we've exactly got $50K, even if you just set a limit here. You would have been, you know, in a lot of profit, especially if you did it for altcoins as well. And even if you look at Ethereum, this was the line that I drew the last time we made a video, and indeed it has hit beautifully. So the question is, what happens next, not only for Bitcoin and Ethereum but also for the altcoins? And let's kick things off with Bitcoin first. So the reason why I drew this area here is because I was hoping for a higher low to form here so that Bitcoin could, you know, break a new all-time high with a higher high to take out all of these buy-side liquidities over here. But clearly we did not get that happening, and so we went further down to sweep out sell-side liquidity instead. Now one thing to about this dump is that this is not some kind of like— sure, it's a 33% retracement, but in terms of a bull market, we are very much still on par. You could even say that this is just a shakeout before the official move or the exponential gains that are about to come. Especially if you've only joined the bull market within the last few months, one thing you need to note is that basically since September of 2023, we haven't had a proper shakeout yet during this entire bull market. From when Bitcoin was at $25K up till a year later, this was the Basically, this area here is the first official shakeout that we got since this period. Does that mean the bull market is over? I don't think so. Like, we are very far from that fact. The fact that you have just swept sell-side liquidity and you gave a really nice V-bounce turns this into a very strong low. Now, for those of you who are foreign to this concept, in trading you have weak lows and strong lows. Strong lows essentially form after some kind of major liquidity sweep and an aggressive recovery. Currently, not only did we form a strong low at a key sell-side liquidity, but if I draw a line over here, you can see that, you know, we're actually within A range high, range low. You've just swept the range low, and so it makes absolute sense that you will go sweep the range highs next and potentially form even a new all-time high. And this time, when we have such a clear range to work with, we can actually set really, really easy targets for Bitcoin, especially using a Fib extension. And for those of you who watched the previous video, the first profit target in the previous video that I laid out was around $85K. That was also using a Fib extension from this low to this high over here, and you're sitting right at about $85K. So most of the other Fib extensions will also give a similar result to the $85K level. Now, Right here, what's interesting about the fact that we just got this new range is that now a -1 standard deviation expansion, meaning if I just take a box and draw from the low to the high, and I essentially just copy paste this box, basically one range expansion is gonna put us at about $100K. And if you're familiar at all with how the market makers like to do things, then you will realize the significance of this information. But what I mean to say is that, you know, first of all, this is just a shakeout. Second of all, sell-side liquidity, very major liquidity has been taken. Third of all, we are at the range lows. This is not the area where you want to capitulate. We are currently in the middle of summer, probably another 2, 3 weeks, maybe 4 weeks before, you know, everyone really comes back to work, especially the market makers and the institutions. Like, fair enough, right? Everyone needs time off, and so did markets. But one thing's for sure, most of the people that are going to be capitulating here are going to regret it in the 3 to 6 months down the line. So now the question is, what next, and what trade opportunity do we have? And so hopping down into the lower time frame, which in this case we're using the 4-hour, first of all, we have had a nice strong V. This is a really good sign. It shows that there is strength in these markets. And the fact that this is a key liquidity sweep, plus the fact that this is going to be a strong low, like, this really good sign. So essentially right now there is only like one ideal play, which is within this range itself from low to high, you want to draw Fib and you want to wait for price to come into a discount zone. And the first area of liquidity around the discount zone is right here at about $55K. If you were to retrace back into the $55K level, this is going to be prime buying opportunity. Remember that the bull market is not over. Historically speaking, October and November are amazing months for crypto, even heading into December. Majority of the parabolic moves during a crypto bull market tends to come in around those months. And they say the early bird gets the worm. And right now we're about 3, 4 months out of that, you know, full parabolic zone. So the fact that you're buying here at these generational entries is going to just make you, you know, generational money when the time comes. This is alongside the fact that if you look at the altcoin season index, well, we are very much in Bitcoin season. You will always get periods where you go into altcoin season. And for those of you who have been in crypto for a while, you understand that all of these peaks in the altcoin season equates to about 10, 20, even 50x gains on the majority of altcoins. The best thing that you can do honestly is just buy during Bitcoin season and sell during altcoin season. It doesn't get much more, you know, complicated than that. The reason why most people struggle is because, well, the timeline's a little bit off, and a lot of the times we expect things to happen, you know, instantly, when in reality they do take some time. This is going to be the generational entry. Second type of entry that you can take is for price to break above this high right here. So if price breaks above this high aggressively, hits the true weekly open, it's down here, do a retest, then that is going to be your entry point right there. That's entry number 2. And in terms of the stop loss, again, like, if you want to be really, really safe, you can set it at the strong low. But honestly, you can also set it here. Like, it's a very clear invalidation that, you know, if you're going for the retest here, if price comes below this area here, it means that it's very likely to come sweep this liquidity before going up. It makes a ton of sense. 2 entry scenarios, and 2 long-term-wise amazing entry scenarios. Now, of course, you can apply this to the majority of altcoins such as Ethereum. Same thing here, you have swept the, you know, very key liquidity over here. You have relatively equal lows, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 times that you have retested this area. And now that you have swept the area up, It's showing a nice V-shaped recovery. This is alongside the fact that we just got the Ethereum ETF, which by the way, I predicted that there would be a down move immediately following the Ethereum ETF. I was right about the down move immediately following the Ethereum ETF if you guys watch that video. In that video, I also said that after this, you know, down move, you are actually going to go parabolic on Ethereum and Ethereum betas such as ENS, such as LDO and stuff like that. So currently the bounce on Ethereum, although it doesn't look like much, is actually, you know, just as strong as what's been happening on Bitcoin at the moment with a 30% recovery. Now this is something that you really love to see if you are in a Ethereum or any of the Ethereum betas. And now let's look a look at the setup. So currently it's actually going for the same setup that I mentioned on Bitcoin where you break above the high, you come for a retest and you go up. Ideally you would still like to see Ethereum, you know, come back to around, you know, $2,400 or even $2,300. You know, just draw a fib. If it breaks above the high, then that is going to be your second entry criteria. Relatively equal highs here, break above. If you come for a retest, in this case your stop loss would actually be at this strong low here. So this low formed right after you swept liquidity. And if this sweeps another high, then this would be a what you call a broken base. This will be a setup Similar to over here where you sweep the sell-side liquidity over here and it immediately break the high, right? You break the high, price comes back to retest the previous high, and then boom. So this is your first broken base. So this is going to be your double confirmation, basically 2 broken bases happening in a row. This is one of the highest probability setups that I've ever encountered in the entirety of crypto. In short, you would've had to wait basically for like a week for this to happen. But they say that, you know, trade less but trade the best. This is an example of trading less but trading the best. And even if we look at Bitcoin, you do not see this setup present on Bitcoin. So if I had to pick between one or the both, definitely do Ethereum. The fact that we're in Bitcoin season right now, the fact that Ethereum is showing this much strength, plus the ETF, whatever, Ethereum is the one that I would go to if I were to pick between one of these 2 trades.
