Roasting my 1-1 student's trades (raw recording)

In this 20‑30 minute raw recording, Joseph reviews a one‑on‑one student’s recent backtesting session, highlighting both exemplary and problematic trades. He praises the student’s improved restraint, clear bias identification, and proper use of order blocks, gaps, and CSDs, while pointing out detrimental habits such as indecision, overtrading, chasing random setups, and entering premium zones without clear edge. Joseph provides concrete action items: maintain focus on high‑quality setups, limit deliberation to no more than two back‑and‑forth thoughts, tighten stop placement, align risk with daily bias, and be aware of prop‑firm constraints (overnight holds, drawdown limits). Throughout the session he emphasizes discipline, awareness of subconscious cues, and the importance of sticking to a proven edge. The video also serves as a promotional plug for Joseph’s one‑on‑one coaching program, inviting viewers to book a call for deeper trade review and profitability guidance.

What's good, guys? I literally just got done reviewing a backtest review from one of the, well, one-on-one students that I work with, where basically like once a week he's gonna record himself backtesting and taking trades, and I'm just gonna be there like, hey man, this is what you're doing right, and you're absolutely screwing up here, like please don't do this again. And so I decided to post the raw recording of, you know, the backtest review here on YouTube because there are examples here where he did everything right, and that's a prime example of what he should continue doing. So it gives you an example of what a good trade is supposed to look like. Then there's another part that's going to be way more valuable for you, in my opinion, because he does things that he thinks are okay, but is in reality silently killing his trading. In fact, he had already blown a few funding accounts for this exact reason, and I just spent like 15 minutes absolutely just calling it out. And, you know, I don't want to say roasting, but definitely calling him out and giving him a solution to fixing this problem once and for all. Yeah, this backtest review is going to have the good, the bad, and everything in between. So yeah, let's get into it. Enjoy.
It's good, Joseph. You're gonna do your backtest review.
Hello, guys. Session here, look quickly. We're gonna do a quick 20 minutes, 30 minutes here. So it's not too long video for you to go through. Right, getting straight into it on NASDAQ here. Currently going into New York session on a Friday, which is a news day as well. So let's have a look weekly here. Oh, okay, we have a bearish week. Yeah, we've already hit into the draw. So I'm still bearish, but cautiously bearish on the daily. Yep, yesterday was bearish. Yeah, S&P. Okay, then we're still looking to— I'm just gonna move this line down. We're gonna take out that level right there from yesterday. We're going to 1 hour. Hmm, 1 second there. That is technically bullish. I'm bearish, but cautiously bearish here because local is bearish, but Yeah, this, this is, this is bullish. So, right, I'll be cautiously bearish here. Let's see, I get the daily, there's the level. I'm going to delete this too just so it's done. Okay, London, the majority of the move, this level is probably going to get taken out, but hopefully it can give me trace number 4. Yep, it's taking out the level. One second, let's see daily, 1 hour. This looks really bullish to be honest, but let me see what happens here, right? Go for this next level here. It's a bit far away up, but we shall see. Yeah, never gave me an entry. Market open. Equal low here, but obviously ES probably took it out. Can't really see it, but I'm still looking for a short here, to be honest. I probably wouldn't have— wouldn't look for a short if this thing obviously took out previous day low and then went straight back up, obviously went under. So let me see. Yeah, no longer looking for a short, to be honest. Just got another IBIS USD there. Probably the low of the day, but they're equal lows there, so Let me see. Yeah. No trade day.
Yeah, that's good, man. The initial trade idea that you tried to go for, like, that's spot on, like picture perfect. Uh, it's a pity you didn't manage to get it, but that would've been the trade. I like the way of thinking. I like what you're looking for. I like how you're thinking about the rest of the market so far. And I also love the restraint. Of not trying to force it and removing that limit. Looking good so far, man.
If I got this entry here, that would have been great, but I didn't. Those are good highs as well. So, oh well, it is what it is. Right, next day. Oh, we're going up anyway. It's beautiful action. Gosh darn it.
No, it's good, man. You wouldn't have predicted that. That move happened at like, what, 2:30, 3 PM? It's an atypical move.
Right, next day. This is Monday. It's Monday. You weak. Bearish Monday. Low. Cautiously bearish. Especially obviously power three Monday can be going up and Thursday will be going down, right? It already looks like plan that is. And we we also took out this level here straight away on a Monday. So obviously bearish for the week, bearish bearish daily, but cautiously bearish. Fill this gap here would be nice. ABC, ABC. Yeah, right. Let's see. One hourly we've got tiny fabric gap here. It's the tiniest tiniest tiniest tiniest. All right, let's see. We've already took this about, but gap fill would be nice. We have to see what finally looks like. But all these levels, take now. Maybe first five area, level six as well. Ah yeah, suppose we're currently in the five area also. We see, could be strong low here, and then give me a CIC, I take a long. Go lows only.
I like how you're planning ahead as well. Like you know exactly what you're looking for, which is amazing. I love to see that.
Yes, took it out. It's a mandatory, mandatory next candle. This fill up this tiny gap here, level ten. That is a strong low as well. I know we're bearish here. Obviously this candle is Monday. Think about the lows. Would be bearish. I wouldn't mind Monday and Tuesday went up. So let me see. On Tuesday, 0.5. Yeah, we tap into this 5-minute gap there. Tiny one. Strong low. Okay, right, let's go for it. I want to see if I can be more greedy here. Is that justifiable? No, no, I'll be that greedy. He's going to take it then. Yeah, that's why. No, what do you mean? I should have been greedy. What the hell?
No, but I like the way you approach this train as well. Like, love the patience, love this train. You know exactly what you're going for. You didn't get kind of FOMO. When you formed the red fifty equal lows, you waited for it to get swept, and then you waited for exact confirmations. Like bro, I'm loving what I'm seeing so far. And I like that you went half risk because this was definitely counter you know daily bias. Although I could see your vision. Is that a trade that I yeah no genuinely like yeah that's fine pretty good so far.
Yeah right. Thank you. That's okay. Daily daily is very bullish actually very bullish. The weekly is bearish but yeah that is that is a crazy Monday actually. This much. Okay, we're bullish again. Um, obviously targeting this high here. We took this out, so again bullish, but you know, cautiously bullish. This is a new day today. It's not a new day today, but I would love to see this take out Asia low, fill this gap here, and then we are allowed to go up from there. Um, don't really like this order block here. One sec, let me see. I'm going to read a few things, right? It's just a little bit messy. So we delete all this. This is taking fucking ages. It's not bad, it's not a bad period. Obviously we are, we are kind of in a premium right now. We look too long from here, but we'll see what books I can see from here, right? Okay, so APC ideally, but oh, I think, I think we get an AM. For New York, and ideally, again, like I said, we love to come to this super Asia lows and then take out this level right here. That's not a that's not a bad low, you know. But they are really really nice lows here to be taken. See what Angkor gives us. Ah, it's gonna be another high versus this here. Let me see. You might go with twenty. Yeah, this is strong. Hello as well. Can we go half price? Yeah.
In this situation here, if that low over there is a strong low. Like I can't exactly see it clearly. No, it looks like relatively equalized. All right, fair enough.
I'm kind of longing into premium here, kind of.
Yeah, longing into premium is fine, man, because you got to realize there's always some sort of an objective that the market's going for just because you're in a premium. But if the overall order flow is bullish, it means it's targeting some sort of buy side liquidity, which means just because you're in a premium, well, guess what? Eventually the market has to leave the premium and kind of take out highs. So don't worry too much about the premium discounting if market's clearly, you know, Bullish right now, then your eyes should immediately go to external range liquidity. All right, what's the target? What's the objective? And like setting a target here makes total sense.
Yeah, but then again, big draw here. If I look at four hour, further gap here as well. Would have been lovely if we tapped the yellow, but we see. Shit!
Did you get stopped out on that? That would have been a pity, man. Oh man, ah, it feels bad.
But I would have expected more than here during New York. I guess he destroyed just to cover both sides.
Yeah, no, this wouldn't have worked out either way. Valid trade though, valid trade. Like nothing, nothing really wrong with this one.
Would have expected this.
Like I know you were looking for the Asia lows, but honestly during the New York, even sweeping the London lows makes, um, it's already enough. So, but you know, yeah, this is great. Like Don't really see any flaws. I would have potentially started getting in on this CIZ right here, maybe. It's not a— considering it's not a non— like, it's a non-news day, I probably wouldn't have. So I also love to see that you are now going for the undeniable CIZs versus the early ones, especially on a non-news day, which is a great improvement. Like, yeah, just a pity. I think if you had set your stop just a tiny bit below the actual swing low instead of setting it directly at the swing low, slash slightly above it, that is This is one of those unlucky moments, right? It's pretty rare that this actually happens, but yeah, it is what it is. At least the overall thought process and the execution was pretty good.
A bit better? Yeah, let me know if I could execute it a bit better. Oh yeah.
No, no, it was, it was fine. It's fine. Like, I think I would have done it the same way as well. Yeah, no, I would have done it the same way. Nothing really, nothing really problematic here. Also, you kind of went in on that because that was a strong low, right? So Yeah, I would have read the market the same way. Just didn't play out. That's all. Bit unlucky. Very unlucky, actually, because I just set it tiny bit lower. Like not even there. Like there. Like it would have been fine. But so yeah, it's just lucky. Nothing really wrong here.
That's rough. I suppose the CSD. Yeah. But even then, I would have been stopped out before. I would have been stopped out before. Before TP got hit, you know? Yeah. I will. Let me know how I could improve that. Still the package review. I kind of mentioned the last one. Like I feel like the most important thing is kind of actionable steps. Because after every backtest review, I am taking feedback to kind of change my pattern recognition when it comes to the chart. So sometimes I kind of need actionable steps too, you know, change it instead of—
Dude, honestly, right now, actionable steps, just keep doing what you're doing, man. Based on what I've seen on the first and second trade, heck, even this third trade, you are so much like, you're worlds better than what you were on, like what you were doing on the first backtest. Clearly you have now shown a lot more restraint. Like when you actually get a good setup and all of the conditions are met, I can still see that Low hesitation execution, but previously, like the trigger finger was kind of firing when it wasn't supposed to fire. But now it's firing all at the right times. Meanwhile, you're showing good restraint on every time before. Oh yeah, you're showing restraint when you're supposed to, and you're executing when you're supposed to. So honestly, man, action items: use the first three trades that I've seen so far here. If you can continue to just do this, like you're very much on the right track. Your progress is going to feel you're quote unquote slower on a day-to-day basis because you're going to be doing less, but you're going to be doing. Like you're actually going to make more progress this way because the reps that, or rather the trades that you are taking, they are way, way higher quality. So, so far looking good.
Just pure feedback. Right, let's see. New York session daily. This level is juicy. Yesterday is technically bullish. Yeah. I don't know if you got the numbers, but if you took this out, I would say it's bearish, but this is bullish in my head. If we look at 1 hour, this is also very bullish. Again, I would I would absolutely love if we could just do this, please. Thank you. Just do this, please. Thank
you. Yeah, that would be great. I also love the fact that you are at a moment like you have a very clear idea as to what will constitute a good trade and your read on what would constitute a good trade is also good as well. So I'm genuinely not having much to point out here.
All right, let's do this. I didn't mark out the period. I have N1 right now. Yeah, I'm just saying this one is not really a lot obviously bearish, but we're going to long here. So we've got London highs. Was even market open? No, it was news actually.
There is a bit of fade.
Oh geez, that was
the movement. Not really much of an opportunity for you to step in.
Open, equal lows. There is— I wonder what ES did. Yeah, they can miss out on the move. Took out Asia high. It's yesterday's level. No, it wasn't. This looks a little bit bearish now. Just the level up there is not taken.
Yeah, it's a good thing you were being a little bit cautious. There's relatively equal lows over there. Also, generally, I think the market's just ranging.
Is it bad that I want to short this?
Yeah, that's bad that you want to short that. I mean, I see where this is going. Just because you see where it's going doesn't mean— like, you know, wanting to short and long every single move is like, it assumes that you're trying to catch every single move, which is never a profitable strategy in the markets. You want to exclusively kind of focus on your edge, which based on the first couple of trades, Or actually all the trades that you've shown so far, they were good habits, they were quality kind of actions. And if you do those, that's where you get your edge. It's not, it's less so more like your overall profitability is gonna come less so from these random trades that you do take that end up being wins. Like trust me, I love, I used to love this as well, but what I ended up realizing is the more of these like random trades that I kind of allow myself to take, that kind of bleeds into everything else that I was doing and I would kind of let loose a little, you know? Yeah. slowly but surely, what used to be, you know, rock-solid discipline would become looser interpretations of the rules, if you think, if I can put it that way. So yeah, it's going to suck if you miss out on the trade and it eventually hits the TP, but just know that you not, like, you following the rules is what's really going to make the difference in you being consistent. You already know you can make money from trading, like you were getting Blown out by all of the bad trades that you were taking in between when you know you shouldn't be taking them. So, and heck, the fact that you're asking yourself that question—is it bad if I if I feel I want to short here? That thing that gives you the biggest answer, man. Like it sucks not no it sucks to kind of let moves go, especially at the start. But it's the right thing to do, and the right thing is gonna get you all the way there.
Everybody, I want to drop this. Really, one hour CSD to the downside. It is not undeniable though. But if we just look at here, we have variation in. One second. What does this look like to Sean? Is it equal lows down here?
Yeah, even here, look at how you're kind of like you have relatively equal lows. I think you had you had some of them below here as well, but depends on where the TPS is. Yeah, I'm
gonna go half risk. It is a new day. What's up, man? One second now. I just went to bullish order block.
So again, that what I what I want you to catch onto is that action item for you is notice how much you're wait actually let me let me let me watch a couple more minutes and then I'll give you my verdict.
All these lows here just look so good, but I don't know if it's gonna super high twist. Can you let me know if there's a trade here that you would execute? Just this taking out area high. But then again, right, there is a bearish order block within, right? We are in a bearish order block as well, so I'm gonna ignore the bullish ones and finish on here.
So the the cue that I want you to catch onto, and this is an action item. Whenever you find yourself in a situation where, like, for me, what I saw was like for a solid 2 minutes, you were just kind of deliberating in between. You're going back and forth with yourself. Is it bearish or is it bullish? Yeah, I can see that it's bullish, but it's also bearish. It's also, but like, that is exactly the type of the, remember on our one-on-one call a couple weeks ago, we talked about how the fix for these kind of automated subconscious, just like autopilot behaviors is awareness. You just wanna catch onto the fact that you are having these thoughts, that you are feeling these feelings. You don't need to have the solution to them immediately, but just knowing. So, so much of this autopilot behavior happens because we're just not aware of what's going on. And over here, the— this is a cue. Like, make this a point. Whenever you run into a situation where you have to deliberate with yourself more than, I don't know, 1 or 2 back and forths, that is immediately just like— 1 back and forth is fine, right? But if you go back and forth with yourself like more than twice, that's, that's a red flag. You may not know what exactly is the And you may not know what exactly makes the trade bad, but you do know that the fact that you have to go back and forth with yourself, like, hey, is this bullish? Is it bearish? Already means that it could be better, right? Look at your first trade that you were taking. Was there any sort of deliberate, like, deliberation between, ah, is price gonna go up or is it gonna go down? No, it's like you were short and price was printing short and you ended up taking a short, but you know, you missed the trade, but the overall thought process was there, right? Those are the trades that's gonna really move the needle. Those are the ones that you wanna focus on. These are the ones that's gonna be— Like, I know also in backtesting that you're just kind of executing more so that you can get a clearer idea of what you should and not, like what you should and should not do. This is a clear example of what you shouldn't do because this, like, heck, I want you to answer me in the group. Like, is this, like, are trades like this the reason that you ended up— I would be willing to take a bet that big part of the reason that you ended up getting, you know, blown up and losing that many funded accounts was due to trades like this where Yeah, they look kind of good, but you also know they're not great. And instead of focusing only on the great ones, you take these in between. The majority of the losses actually come as a result of these subpar trades. So yeah, action item, just be aware, like specifically if you have to go back and forth with yourself, like more than twice, just be aware. You may not know what is wrong. You definitely know something is wrong. And in trading, it's— there's always going to be another day. But you may not always have more capital. That's the way I like to think of it. And I know like as business owners and like, you know, we've got our mindset intact where money is abundant and money's always gonna come. But this kind of like high levels of trading, especially when you're at scale, and I want you to imagine it this way, right? You are not like, what would the Joseph that already has like $3 million in funding, what would he do in this situation? Would he be willing to take a bet? on these trades with, you know, half risk, knowing that there is not much edge there and he would stand to lose. Well, actually, yeah, actually that might not be the best example, but at scale, this is not the kind of behavior that is going to keep you in the game, especially if, you know, when you're at a high amount of funding, they are all still funded accounts. So you have a drawdown limit unless it's your personal capital. Like, that's fine, right? You have maximum freedom when it comes to your personal capital. But again, like, you get the idea, right? This type of stuff, like, if you allow yourself to slip a couple of times, like, it's super easy to continue to slip in the future. And, or heck yeah, let's use fitness as an example, right? If you let yourself slack off on the gym for like 3 days, chances are the 3 days is gonna turn into 7, it's gonna turn into 14. Now, depending on your experience level, you are obviously a very experienced, like, you know, you're in great shape, so you have put in the work and you have a certain amount of, well, rather a certain level of discipline already. So it's easy for you to bounce back. But like in trading, you have to assume like you haven't gotten to the point where you have six-pack abs yet. And if you've worked with fitness clients before, you know how easy it is for them to lose momentum if they happen to just kind of let themselves loose a bit. And that's what I don't want to happen for you. I know it's not easy, but like when in doubt, do the right thing. And the right thing is always gonna be What are the trades that feel super obvious? Focus on those because those are gonna be the moneymakers. And the more you allow yourself to do this, the more it's gonna, the more it's gonna like cause yourself to let loose even more in the future. Even if you, you know, even if you know better, again, you're a logical guy, so you will feel like you're in control. And yet sometimes subconsciously, a lack of discipline in one place or at one point is just gonna translate over to a further lack of discipline in the future. It's not sexy, but this is— it's not exciting either, but genuinely good trading is very boring. Sticking to the rules and focusing on the good ones and listening to your gut when it's telling you like, yes, something doesn't feel quite right. And those moments come when you have to go back and forth with yourself quite a few times. Hey, if you're at this point in the video so far, it shows that you're serious about trading. Now, if you'd like my help to also review through your trades and tell you exactly what is, you know, what you're doing good and what you might be doing bad. That's exactly what we do inside the one-on-one program, where we're just going to be working with you really closely through every step of the way so that we can get you from where you are right now to just being really profitable at trading, or just being able to make a full-time living trading. And chances are what I'm about to describe is going to sound like your situation. You're putting in work into trading, but you're not getting the results that you know you should be getting, or the fact that you're not seeing the results that, you know, these other YouTubers or influencers seem to be getting. But at the same time, you're not sure what is wrong. Like, you know something's wrong, and more importantly, you have no idea how to even fix this. And this is why I mentioned this one-on-one program, because if what I just described sounds like the situation you're in right now, then the thing that's really going to move the needle is coaching from somebody who has— I don't want to say this word, but like, from somebody who is an expert, or at the very least has more experience than you, that can point out, hey, this is exactly what you're doing wrong, and hey, this is what you're doing great, and just fix this. And going to get results like this. So all you got to do is just fix this and your results are going to skyrocket. Now, if that sounds interesting, book a call using the first link in the description box below, but otherwise enjoy the rest of the video.
Bro, see, so many of my trades, right, in real life is like, this is what I'm dealing with, you know. Can I just sit here? Obviously it's going down, right? But like a lot of times I'm in the trade where I'm just outside of the range. You want to go in profit, like the day ends like in the middle of like a 1-hour, you know.
Yeah, if that happens, it's like, it depends on the prop firm that you're at. If they allow you to hold your trades overnight, then great. But if not, close them out. Like It's fine. Ideally, you should have a prop firm that allows overnight trading because it's sometimes annoying. Like, you know for a fact, like, this is going to continue going lower or towards your TP, but then you're forced to close it at like 3 PM or something so that you don't break a rule. Okay. In this sense, it's always worth it to get a prop firm that allows for overnight holds. And obviously with personal capital, you can definitely do it. But yeah, just because the trading day ends, as long as everything is still intact, like, you could— like, oftentimes I hold overnight and I get the full TP hit overnight. After all, like, you— the only things that are within your control in trading is the trade idea, right? How are you, you know, what is the quality of the trades that you're taking? Are you only taking the ones where all of the criteria are met? That's within your control. But what's outside of your control is the volatility. Like, you can set the target and you know full well that the market's gonna go to this area, but you can't control when it's gonna happen or how quickly. So the stuff that's outside of your control, just, you know, let it be as long as price action is still Good by the time you head to bed or whatever. Like I usually just move my stop to break even or something, protect my downside, and like yeah, just let it play out.
That was lovely. It'll be nice long tomorrow now. I don't know. We'll see. No, probably the daily bias will be bearish tomorrow. Okay, that worked out. That worked out. Yeah, um, yeah, I should just trust myself and go full risk because it's a new day. But yeah, okay.
And the reason why you didn't trust yourself to go full risk was because of that uncertainty that you were feeling going back and forth with yourself. Also the fact that you know you were going against the daily bias. Like sure, you saw the liquidity. And you saw things happen, but the reason why you could not go for risk is because, like, physically speaking, even if I put a gun to your head, um, it would have been very hard for you to go for risk because of that uncertainty. And that's what I really want you to focus on and catch on to. Those, like, just being aware of those moments where you are uncertain, where your gut is telling you that something's wrong, but you don't quite know what is wrong, right? Those are moments I really want you to listen to because, like, when, like, at a certain level of practice, Like once you've really familiarized yourself and, you know, start having that pattern recognition on autopilot, especially once you've seen enough trades play out or didn't play out, you're gonna have that bank of this pattern recognition, right? At that point, listening to your intuition matters even more because at that point, like your instinct is gonna tell you things that the logical mind may miss. But yeah, listen to your gut. Like if it feels like something's wrong but you can't quite put a finger on it, That that's what I want you to realize. That that feeling doesn't just come from nowhere, because yeah, like that feeling just doesn't come from nowhere.
I don't know if that's valid, and if if there's anything you would have done better, or would you?
I mean, I see the trade idea, but fundamentally speaking, I don't think that was like objectively speaking. I don't think that was the right move. Yeah, I'm just going to take a look at daily bias in case I'm tripping. I'm pretty sure this was bullish daily bias. Yeah, it was a bullish daily bias.
When Right, we are in the bearish body block as well, so I'm gonna ignore the bullish ones and finish on here. Got it. And if there's anything you would have done better, or would you even have shorted based on what I said there? Okay, next thing. Let me do one more here. Okay, New York session, bearish day. We've already taken out the levels though. Oh, bearish but low-key bullish, which is pretty much everything in 2026, isn't it? Also, if you look at that, what I said played out. It's here, but if it was in Asia, that would have been great. This would have been a great CSD there. Took out the lows, undeniable. Too high. Not that that would have been a nice Q zone, so never mind. Okay, right. Took out— it's very choppy, so choppy. Look at this. This is a month of choppy price action. Highs, lows. I'm gonna say we are bearish, right? I know we've already taken out the lows, but these highs here look so good though. Okay, let me look at local price action. Local price action is low, like locally like this it looks bearish, but if I look at it like this, it is bullish. And then we also happen to 5-minute candles going back up. Obviously once we get this, then undeniable. But let me, let me look at price action here. Now I am in this,
in this case you would definitely lean short. Like the local, considering you are intraday trading, what happens on the larger scale doesn't really quite matter on an intraday basis considering, you know, we are trying to enter a trade and get out within a couple of hours max. So for intraday trading, like this definitely is a lot more relevant and actionable. So I would focus on this, but more than that, like daily bias is bearish, right? So you're gonna be looking for shorts. And in terms of, I remember how the system works, right? First you identified the daily bias. Today it's bearish. Once you identify your daily bias, step 2 is to go into the middle timeframe and look for evidence that supports your, well, to look for evidence that supports the daily bias, right? And so far you've got a bearish CSD over there and this is a bearish order block. Boom, step 2 check. So as you enter into the New York session, you just want to make sure that evidence stays intact. And yeah, overall you're still going to be looking for shorts.
So 5-minute cap here, it is bearish, but let's see 5-minute what happens. If it gives me a strong high and can kind of go both ways, you know, I would short that if that was a stronger high, but those are really equal highs.
Relatively equal highs are fine as well because you have a very convincing CSD over here. What I would do is potentially just use this order block because it's technically a strong high as well. And a trade like this, uh, above the strong high would I think definitely give you a 2R. So like, yeah, exactly. Like that, that's how I would have played it. Strong— like, know that there were relatively equal highs over there, which is good to be concerned about, but like that, that was definitely worth at least a half risk because still valid trade. And like everything you were looking for in terms of the trade idea just kind of was present. The only thing that wasn't present was, um, the equal highs. And no, yeah, literally even AMD was present. Like every single condition was present except for the fact that you had relatively equal highs. So At the very least, that should have been an L2 trade, which means you should have went half risk.
I wonder if yes swapped, but yeah, that would have been— that would have been really nice. Oops, that's not going up.
For me, I would have looked at that one right there.
Asia taken. Yeah, looks like she's going to be bearish. No, I would— I would have taken that short as well. It's a stronger high, but yeah, oh well, is what it is. Should have taken some momentum here, but It is what it is, right? Let me know if there's anything I can improve. Yeah, exactly. Thank
you. So overall, like first 3 trades, like first half of the backtest was great. I think you definitely wanna do more of what you did in the first half, less of what you did in the second half. The last trade over there, you just completely missed, which, don't worry about it. Yeah, I wouldn't necessarily call that a mistake, but you definitely missed it. And hopefully this serves as an example of like what you can look for in the future in the event that you run into a similar situation. But otherwise, bro, like yeah, do more of the first one. The first half, this part here, no bueno. In terms of action items, bro, honestly, one, I love that you have now gotten way better at identifying exactly what it is that you're looking for. Not only that, but you're getting better at kind of planning out exactly how that's going to look like. So you know, when you have relative equal lows, you were like, okay, you're drawing it out. Okay, you want it to sweep the lows before going up. Like that's. Brilliant. Keep that up. Secondly, the thing you want to keep doing is this level of— I'm only using restraint with you because like your problem is like you never struggle with taking trades, right? You're never hesitant to take trades. The problem is you take too many trades, right? Too trigger happy. So I'm using the word restraint here in your specific case, but keep doing that. And that restraint comes as a result of knowing exactly what you're looking for most of the time. Because at this point right here, which leads me on to action item number 3, whenever you get into a situation, whenever you realize yourself like just kind of justifying Like, could be bearish, could be bullish, it could be— yeah, that is what I want you to catch on to because that's a signal that something's wrong. You may not know what is wrong, but something's definitely off. And the more advanced you get at this, the more that kind of listening to your gut is gonna matter, right? And lastly, the last one's not really a big deal. Like it was just in this trade, you could definitely do better there, but it's not a game-breaking It's not like a game ender, you know? But yeah, let me know if you have any questions. Just feel free to send it into the, um, or just feel free to send it to me in the WhatsApp chat. Um, but otherwise, yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing your next one and huge improvement, by the way. Mm-hmm. Like compared to the first practice, this is, I think, the third one that I'm reviewing, a huge improvement. I just want you to notice like how much further you've gotten along in literally one short month, or maybe this is like 5 weeks, but plenty of people take at least 6, maybe 12 months to get to this point. But you're here now in one month. Like, you've experienced more trading in a month than I think the majority of people do in a year. So just be like, look back at the journey. Like, you definitely own the right track. Now it's just kind of getting you through the finish line, which I think is getting pretty close. So looking forward to seeing your next one. And yeah, let me know if you have any questions.
