In this informal vlog, two founders (A and B) walk viewers through a hectic New York City workday. They start by filming a TikTok for Subway with a friend, then attend a series of meetings—including a board/VC meeting with Taylor, a customer onboarding session, and a discussion about a profit‑sharing template. After deciding to skip their usual lunch spot due to snow, they head to Garden of Eden for food and coffee. The core of the vlog is a live cold‑call to a Michigan bankruptcy lawyer who had downloaded a free Excel profit‑sharing plan template but never booked a demo. The founders pitch their profit‑sharing software for law firms, explain its current capabilities (template, scorecard, plan design, investor‑role dashboards) and future roadmap (payroll and payout integrations). The call ends positively, reinforcing the founders’ belief that outbound outreach can be effective. The video wraps up with a brief recap and weekend well‑wishes.

What's up, guys? Today we have a crazy day. We actually filmed a video, a TikTok video with my friend Emily for Subway. And then we have a meeting with Trevor, a meeting with a customer. We're actually onboarding this customer, meeting with Taylor, one of our biggest VCs and board members. And it's snowing here in New York City. So come along with us for the ride.
We downloaded the template.
And then she like opened up what they downloaded and they like completely customized it. They had another tab on it with almost like a scorecard. They want to basically do tenure, like roll, but these be like the components. But scorecard for the whole summer, or it's like average?
And now we're trying a new place.
Yeah, now we're about to get lunch. Usually we go to Kava, but Kava's a little too far and it's a little too snowy and absolutely freezing, so we're gonna try Garden of Eden and then we're gonna get coffee.
I'm gonna try to cold call someone real quick.
This guy signed up yesterday. He downloaded a template, then he requested a demo, but he didn't actually schedule a time on my Calendly. Bankruptcy lawyer in Michigan. Hi, is Ryan there? Okay, this is, this is Ryan Shank. He actually signed up for like a demo of our— we have software, we have profit sharing software for law firms. So I think he was checking it out, but he never actually scheduled like on my Calendly. So I just wanted to give him a call and see if we could just like get that scheduled for next week. Okay, thank you so much. Dude, outbound can work so easily. We can get these people. Now I want to keep going. Now I want to do more. Thinking about— okay, so triggered milestones have a big category of like plan design. Like an investor user role might actually have different things on the dashboard because if I bought into a company, I might want to see like financial management. Okay, so, um, we had this guy download one of our templates. We offer a free template of a profit sharing plan. It's an Excel template. He emailed and said, hey, what it means is he He wants to talk. He wants a profit sharing plan and I'm his guy. Rules, you would then still have to like issue the distributions and then push it. And then right now we aren't kind of pulling and pushing the money, but eventually we're going to be able to do like PCH and payroll payouts, if that makes sense. And we'll chat next Friday. Enjoy the conference. That was a great call. That's the vlog for today. Uh, today was a great day. Have a great weekend. That was terrible.
