I want to track it every single day, okay? So going back to business, it's like, hey, are you, you know, tracking what you want to grow every single day? What up, guys? Good morning today. Hope you guys are working hard, by the way. Today is day 1 of Techstars. I think it's like 7:30 right now. What we're going to do is I'm actually going to go to the gym real, real, real quick before we have to go to Techstars and meet with everyone. Got to get that morning exercise in, so that's going to be good. Get the mind right, get the body right, get feeling feeling right. Full day ahead, so hope you guys are working hard. I hope you guys are being pioneers, being Wagoneers. Come for the day, welcome to the day, day one. Let's go! All right guys, now we're done. Now, uh, going into the office, we're gonna go get some coffee. I feel great, by the way. That was awesome. I was a little tired this morning, not gonna lie. Uh, now I feel great. Gonna get some coffee, hit the office, gonna be in there, meet with the team real quick. Gonna be such a good day. Beautiful outside right now, by the way, so Alright, so we just got out of our orientation meeting with Techstars. They pretty much went over all of the program details, like, hey, here's access to all of our associates and what each of their associates does. They talked about, you know, all of the managing directors and the directors of Techstars and sort of their background and how they're able to help us. Then we went over, you know, what we're gonna do for the program. Like, you know, in the beginning we're gonna work on just elevator pitch and refining those sorts of things and really actually defining KPIs and things like that. And then what we need to do in order to hit our KPIs. KPI is, you know, a key performance indicator. So it's basically your metrics that you're gonna be tracking religiously on a daily, even hourly basis. Obviously weekly and monthly you're gonna be kinda looking at trends and things like that. So basically just went over all of that stuff, what's gonna happen in the program, and then we also went over, hey, you know, here's access to a bunch of perks. So in Techstars you get a lot of perks like credits for hosting through Amazon Web Services, you get credits for Twilio, credits for Stripe payment processing, things like that, which is awesome. So sort of just kinda give us a broad overview and then more like, hey, week by week this is what's gonna happen. But it was really, really helpful just to see like what's gonna happen happen over the next 12 weeks. So I'm super excited. We brought the entire team in there, uh, so everyone is up to speed, and now we're about to hit the phones. Hello? Hey, I was just, uh, I was giving you a call. So I mean, we built this just to be easier to use and a lot less expensive. All right guys, we've been hitting the phones, we've been doing some cold calls, we're testing out different lists. So we're calling people who have call tracking on their website, so we're trying to basically call people who are using competitors' products. We're calling people who who are advertising in direct mail and coupon books. And basically we're offering them call tracking to see if their direct mail coupon books are effective. So we're basically saying, hey, you're spending all this money doing this advertising. Do you really want to keep spending money if you don't know if it's working or not? So what we just did, we did a demo for a potential customer. So it was an agency. It was actually pretty good. We did a screen share with them. So we're email blasting them right now. And then we're going to call everyone that responds first, and then we're going to call everyone that opens second. So just going to help us prioritize our cold calls right now. We're just hitting the phones. One of our current customers, is signing up one of his customers and they're about to close. I just created a custom plan. Calling there, they literally just put me on hold. They're calling their client right now and then they're signing up for a paying account right now. And then he says he's gonna get 40 of these every 50 days. So this is gonna be a huge channel for us. This is how your customers work for you. We talked about this yesterday when we were in the Uber. He's literally about to do it right now. So we're about to get another paying customer. Yep, podcast just went live on iTunes. I just checked it a second ago. There was like 6 listeners on iTunes, 18 now have listened to it on iTunes. We're just blowing up all platforms, guys. The content out of this world. The internet's loving it and we're loving the internet. Rolling, my friend. I'm trying to think of the daily takeaway. What up, guys? Uh, we're gonna go for our daily takeaway. We do this every single day. So the takeaway today, one thing that I did today that's kinda on my mind that I wanna share with you so you can get a value out of this is tracking your metrics and your key metrics. Uh, we call them KPIs if you're super businessy, but whatever it is, like track your metrics and have some something where you report on it ideally daily. Other than that, you definitely want to look at it weekly. And then what you want to do is you want to see trends. So not even looking at business, taking a step back, one thing to— that you should be doing this with, for instance, is like your weight. Probably step on the scale every single day. What I've done is I have a Fitbit scale that I've used If This Then That, and I've linked it up to a Google Doc. So literally makes it seamless for me. All I have to do is step on the scale and that's it, and then it pushes that data into a Google Doc. And then I have a different, uh, row every single day with my weights, and then I see charts and everything, and I can see trends. So going back to business, it's Hey, are you, you know, tracking what you want to grow every single day? So one of the things that we want, ultimately we want sales, but to get to sales, that's way further down the funnel. We want to have leads coming through the top of the funnel. So every single day we're tracking leads, you know, how many new people signed up for a free trial, or how many people signed up for a demo request. And then of those people, how many of them converted to a paying customer? So we track it every single day. We look day over day, week over week, month over month. What does our growth look like? What do we need to get to where we want to be in terms of month over month growth, or just a nominal number count growth? So things like that. End of day recap, guys. We're about to get out of here. It's coming up on just 9 PM, so not too late. Today was actually a really productive day, day 1 at Techstars. So we had our orientation today, we had a workshop that went over our KPIs, key performance indicators, and I realized that we need to create a better dashboard and get a better system in place so that we can get all of that. We did a bunch of cold calls today, we got a paying customer, we set 2 demos today, so that's really good. Each of our— so John, AE, killing it by the way, he set one. Nick set one. Nick set starting. Nicks, by the way, is having a lot of good conversations, really, you know, saying things that are resonating with the customers. So we're really, really excited about that. The other thing that we did today, we were able to go through a lot of the product stuff. We realized that we have way too much to do right now before we can hire a QA developer, so we're gonna have to delay that like a week. A QA person is just gonna be able to test it for us and find bugs, but we've already found a lot, so we have a lot to do. So even if we hired them, it would just literally just get put on a list. So what we're gonna do is we're gonna wait about a week to bring someone on board for that. We still have to hire the 3 SDRs SDRs for the sales reps. So we're gonna go through that right now. My lawyer, by the way, just hit me up. What up, Steve? Hit me up with some consent forms so the vlog is airtight, and we're just sharing everything with you guys, super transparent. But we had a lot of good conversations with customers and potential customers today, so really excited about that. So we'll see you guys tomorrow. Gonna hit the gym, get some food, get some sushi, and then come back here because we do this every single day. Peace!
