we might have figured something out...

Ryan Shank updates PhoneWagon's growth: 52 paying customers last month, 200 daily active users, and a new feature that matches phone calls to actual sales. The breakthrough lets businesses see which ads drove revenue, closing the gap between marketing and sales that competitors miss.

Sup guys, welcome to the vlog for today. Sorry we haven't been vlogging in a really long time, we've been uber busy, but I did want to put a video out today, this week, since we are having such an awesome week. We had 11 paying customers last week, we had 20 paying customers the week before, which is a run rate of about 75 paying customers. We had 52 paying customers last month, which is crazy. Getting like 200 people a day logging into our software and using it, which is insane. Forgot to do an intro, but the vlog today, it's a collection of videos from the past week and a half, and then I just did an update because we're really excited about something came out today. Guys, do you understand this is like incredibly transformational? The only reason I'm— If you're new here, my name is Ryan Shank. This is our journey. We're building PhoneWagon from the ground up. You guys are coming along for the journey. Hope you guys are out there working hard, being pioneers, being Wagoneers. Welcome to the vlog. [FOREIGN LANGUAGE] A, I can comp like half a month. We can just create a dynamic number.
Did you want to do it under company?
Or did you want to create a separate whole branch? Separate. So we're at $14,070 right now. So we basically need like $9,300 to get to the TK. I actually want to get 3 additional SDRs and 1 additional sales trainer. Thing is, I'm probably going to have to spend a lot of time next month on the phones to actually almost supplement me like an AE.
Get some demos today? Got 2 demos set. Quality ones too. I'm really happy about.
Oh, the steakhouse. Oh yeah, we'll go to Peter Luger's. Yeah.
Oh, that's done.
Once we get you switched over, we'll bring you out here in, uh, let's say May.
Jim's close as hell. Uh, what email address do you want to use to, uh, set this up?
What happened?
He's— he wants to like double okay it with his partners. He's decided that's going to test us out with these 15 clients.
And I see. Let's fucking get 'em.
So we'll get 'em. You better do it quick now because the battery's gonna die.
So basically, as you guys know, we had our board meeting on—
That thing looks pretty dense when you— It is kind of dense, huh? Clip it together like that. How long was the meeting?
2 hours.
I kind of want to prioritize from a product perspective some of the things that we're talking about that are doesn't do over some of the things that we're talking about that we want to add that does do.
I wanna know if you guys can hear this background noise. We got a crypto meetup over here, so loud. We're getting like 200 people a day logging into our software and using it, which is insane. It means like they're logging in, they're getting value out of like the tool, which is really cool, 'cause like I think a lot of times like people will sell, they'll sell something and then people won't use it, they won't engage with it, then like retention isn't there, churn is like just too high, and it doesn't make like a really good business. So it's really cool. We're spending a lot of time like in product, and really starting to figure out a lot of things. And speaking of that, I actually tweeted it the other day. I was like, I really feel like we just captured lightning in a bottle, 'cause this is what's happening. So, we're a call tracking software. We help businesses track, you know, which marketing campaigns or which ad spend led to phone calls. But at the end of the day, you need to track which phone calls lead to sales, right? How much money was actually brought in from those calls, which is from the ad spend. So we're talking with one of our customers. I'm going through everything and they're like, yeah, but like, how do I know how much like money I've made, you know, from these calls? And I was like, that's a fair point. So basically what we've done is we've figured out a way to take that e-commerce transaction, match it to the phone call, 'cause we're still gonna get the phone call data. It's called phone call conversion. We're able to marry and mesh all the data together, and we're able to completely close the loop. Guys, do you understand this is like incredibly transformational? The only reason I'm releasing a vlog today is so that people who actually follow the vlog can get this information before we actually do like press, and before we do all this stuff around it, because we obviously vlogged going through the whole fundraising process. We vlogged like closing the deal fundraising before we even announced it with press and everything, so people who are following already knew and they followed the whole journey. And that's why I wanted to make this, because we haven't been doing daily videos, but I did want to give people who are following the journey that access. So anyway, basically what we're able to do now is track phone calls back to actual revenue. So, you know, if you spent $1,000 on a campaign, you'll know the exact sales and the exact amount of money that you brought in from that. And then people can do arbitrage based on paid media spend. This is such transformational. It's something that no one's doing. It's, it's literally a quantum leap forward between us and what everyone else in the market is doing. They're only tracking calls to leads based on like duration of the calls, which is so like arbitrary. These campaigns generated long calls, like who cares? It doesn't mean the calls resulted in revenue, or it doesn't mean they resulted in a lot of revenue, and it doesn't mean they resulted in retained revenue. I wanted to just kind of like share my excitement because like we're doing things that no one else is doing in the space. We're already beating these big guys right now, but now what we're gonna do, uh, now that we have this, we're gonna really package it, we're gonna blow it out of the water, and we're gonna compete upstream, um, We just closed our first franchise deal right now. We are fucking hungry and we're going at it now harder than we have been. So, that said, hope you guys are out there working hard, being pioneers, being Wagoneers. Peace!
