Ryan from Sharewillow is rebuilding his marketing funnel over the next two days. He gets 500 downloads monthly but only 30 demo requests, so he's rewriting ad copy, redesigning the email sequence, and adding lead scoring. The target: 100 demos per month by January.

Guys, this is Ryan over at Sharewillow. Wanna just go over what we're working on, what I'm personally working on for the next couple days. It is December 30th, there's 2 days left in the year, and it's kind of a weird time in between Christmas and New Year's. But one of the things, firstly, I wanted to just create this video 'cause I haven't done this in a really long time, and I actually really like making these videos. Firstly, like, it just makes, it holds me accountable. I also get to articulate what I'm going to do, and then anyone that cares can follow along and like see the journey. And see what we're working on. But basically today, one of the things that I wanna do before the end of the year, which is today and tomorrow, is create and optimize our funnels. Right now we're doing ads and we're basically like our funnels are, you can go to the website and do a demo request, but we don't get a lot of those. That's like a big ass, that's awesome. It's the holy grail of leads, right? Most people find us and then they download a piece of content, a template, a guide, something like that. So that's where we get most of our leads from. We're getting, you know, hundreds of those a month, 500 a month, something like that. But right now, you know, I think the ad copy, the creative, the messaging, all of that, even the actual lead magnet, I think is stale, is outdated, especially because we've evolved so much as a company. Back then, we were really focused on profit sharing, and it was, hey, here's a profit sharing guide, profit sharing, profit sharing. We're now really like employee incentives tied to KPIs. Hey, incentivize your employees to, you know, do this and build a scorecard, a checklist. So we need to, you know, obviously optimize the copy in the ad, the creative, uh, we need to optimize the actual lead magnet that we're sending them, the guide, the Excel template, whatever it is. Um, the emails then create, you know, what does the sequence look like? Are we creating, are we sending the initial email to download it? Is there another call to action in that email? Um, is the call to action to schedule a demo? That feels like a heavy call to action to me. It feels like maybe we should offer them, hey, do you also want this piece of content? Right? And then we start scoring the leads. Hey, they downloaded this, they went to the website, they've gone to this many pages, they've downloaded 3 pieces of content. Now they're probably ready to, you know, maybe talk to someone. So it's really about, you know, firstly, like, getting the copy, the creative, getting the sequences right. Hey, we're gonna email them initially, we're gonna email them at day 7, day 3, day 7, day 9. Here's the offer. I also wanna, you know, get the confirmation pages. Once you download it, where do you land? We used to land on a survey, and a lot of people actually filled out this survey, and we learned a lot. You know, what business they were in, number of employees, what platforms they were using. And then also, You know, what does the survey page look like? Do we, do we send them to a different page? All of those things around funnel optimization, because I really wanna dial things up in 2025. We're getting about, you know, 30 demos a month right now. Our goal is 100 demos a month, like instantly in January. Um, and we, I, I don't wanna feed a, a leaky funnel as they say. So gonna be focusing on that for the next few days, starting to like test some traffic to it. Uh, and then, you know, see, see what that looks like. But we're gonna dial everything up and, and put but keep the foot on the gas in 2025. Um, see you guys. Hope you follow along.
