Hey Kane, hey Kane, how's the video working? What up guys, it is Ryan coming back at you. It is Tuesday, August 15th. We have 44 days left in Techstars. We're counting down until we hit $25,000 in monthly recurring revenue today. We're currently at $6,500 exactly in monthly recurring revenue. We have 72 paying customers. We are just hitting the ground running really, really fast and just trying to do as many demos as possible. We're trying to get marketing up. So one of the things that I'm doing today, I just hired 3 3 offshore SDRs, which are sales reps that are gonna go after outbound cold calling. So I've used this company in the past. I really like them. So one of the things is they're super cheap, by the way. They have really, really good English. They are like, they are hungry because they'll do like 150, 200 dials a day. They'll listen to all the training and feedback that we're giving them, and you can't beat it. So we just hired 3, 3 of them today. They're— the company that I'm using is actually sourcing the reps right now. We're gonna do training on Thursday, so I'm working today to just make sure everything is buttoned up and in place and the lead list is ready for them. So we're doing that We're also doing outbound emails today because I feel like we just need to do a lot more stuff with marketing. If you guys are new here, my name is Ryan Shank. This is our journey building PhoneWagon from the ground up. We're going through Techstars in New York City. We're doing this all without any outside funding. We're letting you come along for the ride, share some of the tactics that we're doing so that you can hopefully get some good takeaways from it. Um, I hope you guys are out there working hard, being pioneers, being Wagoneers. Welcome to the vlog! And then the other thing again that's pretty cool is you can send them like email summaries weekly. You can send them alerts after every single call. Yeah, I think it is like kind of to your point, it's like right now it's a mix of an education play. So it's like we're trying to educate the market on like, look, you need to be doing this. You're only tracking— especially for a certain vertical. Is this thing on? Is this thing on? Hey guys, it's me, it's Ryan. So I wanted to update you really, really quickly on the progress of yesterday. So I told you yesterday we were gonna create custom audiences in Facebook, get a list of reporters. So like, didn't exactly happen. Anyway, so one of the Techstars associates is at, ooh, wait for the focus, focus, focus. Anyway, one of the Techstars associates is helping us create the list right now. So we need the list to then upload list into Facebook. Hopefully that list will be done today. So it wasn't done yesterday, but we do have a strategy going out. So we're gonna be able to then upload this list of reporters into a custom audience on Facebook, like I said yesterday. And then we're gonna just like blast out a couple articles so that we're in their feeds. And then once that is all uploaded and ready to go, which hopefully will happen today, because again, it takes a while to like source and create the list, which, which it takes a long time to like source and create that list, right? But once the list is created, once the list is created, then we're gonna upload that list and then we're gonna be able to hit them with this. And then again, once that has happened, once that's ready to go, Alex, managing director at Techstars, is gonna reach out to these guys and then just like not even ask them to write about us, just be like, hey, you gotta pay attention, these guys are doing cool stuff with the vlog. So we do all that, right? We're gonna beat anyone's price. I mean, I don't want to get hung up on this. Like I said, hands up if you can. Hey, Brad, what's up? Hey, what's going on? How's it going? Going alright, going alright. John, you want to go first? Yeah, I got 1 sale completed, 3 demos, set 2 demos. I see I had 100 dials. I got 2 demos set. I'm trying to get this third one. I'm holding on. Give me a call back in a few minutes. What's going on? Roll me. You're— yeah, no, you're on. All right, so one thing that we're dealing with today, this is a good— I would say, I would argue this is a good problem to have, although it'd be good to not have this problem— is that so we're getting a bunch of people that are starting to use our software, use our tool every single day. They're using it with live ad campaigns, which means they're spending a bunch of money and they need to use our tool to help them see what— which of those like ad campaigns are actually working and which ones aren't. So that said, it's cool that they're actually using it, and what is happening is it's not working some of the time for some of the customers. And I don't say it's not working, there's just like, like user errors a lot of times. So the— like with our software necessarily, like you have to drop in code onto a website and then the phone number of the, of the actual phone number like swaps out. So it's pretty technical. Not a lot of these agencies that we work with are like super, super, super technical, so we're having to go in and like troubleshoot. So like we're running into a bunch bunch of errors. Plus people have different kinds of sites. Like Wix sites, for instance, are all iframes, so it's like they technically like block the script. So we have to make like custom scripts around that. Some people have like WordPress, some people have like multi, multi-location WordPress. So there's like a— and then some people have multiple dynamic numbers on the site. So there's like a bunch of different use cases that are happening. So we're having to go in and troubleshoot. It kind of sucks to have to like go through this because it's like we're having to go in into their site and it's not swapping the way that it should. I would love for it to just work. Like, don't you just love when tools, technology, software, hardware, it just like works? It's beautiful. You drop it in, it works just as it should. Me and Mike, like, today we're like literally sitting down with like multiple customers. We're like going into their sites and we're just trying to like figure out like why it's not working. The main to-do list that we had today is we're going to reach out to a bunch of reporters. Like I told you guys earlier today, I'm still waiting on one of the Techstars associates to create this list. I didn't want to nag because like they're being like really nice and like creating this list for us, but like it's taking days. And my offshore team or my other teams that create lists, like pump that shit out when I'm sleeping and I wake up to these beautiful lists that are created. So I'm not really sure what's up. Yeah, we just did the end of day recap with like the sales team. So everyone, what we're doing now is we're having everyone read out their numbers to the entire sales team. It's like number of dials, demo set, demo closed, and sales. So that it's like one, it stays top of mind. You have to read your numbers to everyone, which just makes you more cognizant of like the numbers that you put up for that day versus like just kind of like stealth doing it. Other thing that we're trying to do is we're trying to go after this long tail of like internet marketers that are like just doing it on their own on the side that are just managing like Facebook campaigns or Google AdWords for like a handful of clients. So we're trying to get into influencers that are like marketing influencers, kind of like the ClickFunnels, the Russell Brunsons, the Unbounce Page guys. And we're trying to get them to like not only just push our stuff but to actually promote it as part of their— a lot of these guys will like sell these like the ultimate guide to like getting rich online and they sell you like just like kind of like a stack of tools that you can use So we're trying to like get in with a lot of these guys so that like they can insert, you know, PhoneWagon as part of this like marketing stack that these guys need to be using and trying to get them to sell like PhoneWagon to their, to their customers, right? Especially so this is gonna be like more marketing-generated, like influencer-generated sales where they're just gonna be like these $25 a month customers. But like, we'll take that all day. Use one or two different numbers, use it on landing pages, and use it to help you. You know, the thing that's actually like super fulfilling is like when people can use our tool to actually like make money and be more successful, right? Because if these guys are doing, you know, advertising marketing campaigns, setting up websites, and they start managing a couple clients on their own, like, that's like cool. That's like entrepreneurship. That's the heart of America. That said, that's, that's all I'm thinking right now. So we'll see you guys tomorrow because it's every day, bro. Peace! Hey Kane, hey Kane, how's the video working?
