Hey friends, Ryan Dohrn here answering your listener questions sent to me at ryan@ryandohrn.com. All right, this next question, uh, comes from Bobbie with an I, Bobbie, uh, from Terre Haute, Indiana. How about that? My wife spent about 5 or 6 years there in Terre Haute, Indiana, so very, very cool growing up. All right, Bobbie's question. Ryan, when it comes to referrals, when do you ask? When do you not ask? And Why do you ask for referrals all the time? All right, Bobby, good question for you. I don't care if I win business, I don't care if I lose business, I always ask for a referral every time. So if someone turns me down, I say, hey, if you're not interested in this, who might be? Send me to somebody that might be interested in this. I get referrals all the time. If I win business, I also ask for referrals. So let me pull up some stats on my screen here that I can share with you. All right, 91% of customers say they will give a referral. Only 11% of salespeople actually ask for referrals. Interesting. Referrals, according to buzzbuilder.com, referrals result in appointments 80% of the time compared to 2% of the cold calls you've made. Friends, listen to that carefully. Referrals result in appointments 80% of the time compared to 2% of the cold calls that people make. So, uh, Bobby from Indiana, I always ask for referrals, and quite honestly, there's never a bad time to ask for referrals. All right, good luck with that, Bobby. Um, keep those questions coming in, friends, to ryan@ryandohrn.com. If you're wondering what I can do for you or for your company, reach out to me over at ryandohrn.com.
