Hey friends, Ryan Dohrn here, your sales and revenue coach, answering your questions sent to ryan@ryandohrn.com. All right, Jennifer from Chicago— a big Chicago guy— Jennifer from Chicago asks, I do not have my clients' cell phone numbers, so how do I call them? Jennifer, good question. A lot of times if we don't have their number, the next best thing for us to do is get on LinkedIn and figure out a better way to connect with them. Sometimes people will have their contact information listed there. The other piece is I just have to go to LinkedIn Messenger, or I'm going to need to go and find their email address. So one of the fastest ways for me to find somebody's email address is to go over to a website I use called hunter.io. Again, that's hunter, not .com, hunter.io. It's a very easy service to use. It's affordable. And even if you don't pay for the service, you can still use it to figure out the naming convention. The other thing you can do is I like to Google people. So a lot of times their cell phone number will be listed in Google results. So Google somebody, try to find their email address there. But I'm just being honest with you to say I'm struggling with a very similar thing. The other thing is keep in mind, most people, if they put their cell phone number on their business card, it's usually free game. If somebody does not put their cell phone number on their business card, then I would be slightly reluctant to be calling them just out of the blue. So you might want to use email, or you might want to use LinkedIn Messenger, or even social media messengers, or those type of things. So Jennifer, good luck to you in the Windy City. All right, friends, I'm your sales coach, Ryan Dohrn. You can find out more about me online at ryandohrn.com. And don't forget, friends, if sales was easy, everybody'd be doing it. Take care.
