Hey friends, Ryan Dohrn, your sales coach here answering your questions sent in to ryan@ryandohrn.com. All right, next question. Brandy from Cedar Falls, Iowa. Ah, I was born in Iowa. All right, uh, Brandy's question. My boss has become a CRM drag. Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Like always on the system. It's driving me crazy. Always looking over my shoulder, always emailing me. What do I do? What do I do? Wow. Okay, Brandy. So first and foremost, you should probably do what your boss says. That's the first thing. But the other thing is, if you're not using the CRM effectively, recognize that almost every superstar seller that I work with uses their CRM inside and out. Now, I don't know the circumstance. Maybe you know your CRM inside and out. If you don't, that's the first step. This is a time now, watch every tutorial. Really, really awesome with your CRM. The next thing is just recognize what are the components that your boss wants you to track and then figure out what those components look like. Now, I'm going to guess that probably what's going on is your boss wants to see a higher level of activity. So then just recognize, make sure that you're not— that you're putting notes in the notes area. That'll drive activity. That you're putting emails in the email blank. That you're making sure you're scheduling callbacks. See, a lot of times in normal sales life, we'll double up on things. Like we won't put a note in the note box because we've done an email which should cover it. Well, a lot of times I'll do the email is fine, I'll add a note, and then make sure you're scheduling callbacks. Use activity tracking to its— to the degree that it's available inside of your CRM. The other thing is ask him what he's looking at. I mean, what does his report look like? Because there might be categories along the top you don't know about. So then just simply say, hey, I want to do for you what you want done correctly. What does this look like? And a lot of times supervisors, etc., will send us on a race, but they won't give us a finish line, and that can be very frustrating. So just have a really cool, calm conversation and see if you can't somehow get it figured out. I hate to recommend that you look for another gig because quite honestly, CRM activity is what people are using to monitor your activity at home. It's just, hey, They wanna make sure that you're doing your job. So hope that helps, Brandy. All right, friends, if I can answer your questions, send them over here to me, ryan@ryandohrn.com. Don't forget, if sales was easy, everybody be doing it. We'll see you next time.
