Hey, what's going on, friends and fans? Billion Dollar Sales Coach Ryan Dohrn here, and today we're talking about the Pomodoro Technique. And I don't talk about it a lot, but it is by far one of my best time management strategies. All right, developed by an MIT student named after a tomato timer, the Pomodoro Technique means that you're going to work for 25 minutes, then you're going to take a 5-minute break, then you're going to come back and work for another 25 minutes and take a 5-minute break. You're gonna do that for a total of 4 cycles, so essentially 2 hours with the breaks included. And then what you wanna do is you wanna take about a 30-minute break. The student that came up with this idea was having trouble focusing, preparing for class, struggling at MIT, which in and of itself is a hard school. And they came up with this technique and they realized that their brain could focus very, very well for 20 or 25 minutes. Then they would take a break Which allows your brain to cool down. Take a look. Now, don't just change tasks, like literally take a break, walk the dog, go get a, take a bathroom break, go get a drink of coffee or whatever. And then you come back and you cycle through that. Friends, it's been a game changer for me in my sales life and in my personal life as well. As a matter of fact, it works so well for me, I told my son about it, I've told my wife about it, and then of course I talk about it as I'm traveling and speaking across the country as well. The Pomodoro Technique allows you to focus in for 25 minutes. Give your brain a little break, and at the end of the day, you'll feel like you got a lot more done because you really followed a time management technique. Never forget, friends, if this job was easy, everybody be doing it, and they're not. We're not crazy, friends. This is a great job. It'll feed your family for a lifetime, but if you're not careful, you're gonna get burnt out. So one of the ways that you might avoid being burnt out—that's right—use the Pomodoro technique to your advantage. All right, get out there and sell something. Make us all proud, would you?
