In this solo sales‑training monologue, the speaker emphasizes the critical role of organized working lists for salespeople. He describes maintaining multiple lists—critical, moderate‑priority, and low‑priority items—as well as personal “honey‑do” lists. He advocates moving these lists into a digital task app that syncs across devices (e.g., Microsoft To Do with Outlook, Google Tasks with G Suite) so reminders buzz and chime, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. The speaker stresses that even if a salesperson isn’t naturally organized, adopting separate, synced lists dramatically improves daily success and accelerates deal closure. The overall message is a motivational call to adopt disciplined list‑management to become more effective in sales.

Today we're talking about working lists. I have a list for everything, friends. I have a list called my honey-do list. There are things that my wife wants me to get done around the place. I've got my list of critical things that have to get done today. I've got a list of things that are moderate priority that sort of need to get done today. And then I've got things that can wait until tomorrow or later on in the week. You want to be asking yourself, what do your lists look like? Are all the lists kind of written on one piece of paper? Friends, in the world we live in today, we've got to be crazy kind of organized, and that's not me. That's not how my DNA was made by whoever created me or you. I just know that the more organized I am, even if I hate it, the more organized I am, the more successful I typically am in any given day. You've heard me talk in videos about not being random. You've heard me talk about working these lists, but I'd be remiss if I didn't tell you that one of the greatest things that I do is I use my task app built into my phone. I write things down, absolutely. I've got lists everywhere. I've got a list right here of all kinds of different things that need to get done. But that app is going to whirl, it's going to buzz, it's going to chime. So I would encourage you to get the app that syncs up best with what you use the most. So I've got a to-do app that syncs up, Microsoft To Do, that syncs up with Outlook. I've got a Tasks app that syncs up with G Suite. So whatever it is that you do— now if you're using Thunderbolt or something like that, maybe it's time to upgrade. To something else. Recognize, friends, you want those apps to sync together, and you're almost always going to be successful. Work lists, friends, try to put them in an app, but remember, different lists for different things. You're not probably organized, just like I'm not organized by nature. It's not the common thing for salespeople to be highly organized. But friends, when we are, we're almost always going to get further faster. Get out there and sell something, friends. Make us all proud.
