Hi Ryan, I'm from the UAE. That has asked this question. Hey Ryan, as you might see from my address, I do a lot of international selling. Any advice on selling across the pond, across the sea, or across around the world? I do have some great thoughts for you. I enjoy international selling as well. One of the best pieces of advice that I can give you is— you can't see it right here in front of me— is a world clock that shows all the major financial centers around the world. So I can look up and tell you that, hey, right now it's, you know, 4 o'clock in London, or whatever the circumstance is. You want to be aware of other people's time zones because you're not going to be working always in your time zone and it's not going to align with their time zone. So working remote, working international, you want to be able to look up and glance and see kind of what's going on in the world from a timing perspective. Then also on your phone, you've got a built-in world clock. Why is this important? You want to work in their time zone, not your time zone. So you want to know in Gmail and Outlook how to use send later. Make sure those emails are hitting perfectly in their time zone. Zone. So for me, it might be 9 o'clock at night as an example, and so it might be, say, 2 o'clock in the afternoon in another country. I want to make sure that it's going to hit at the perfect time. For example, I'm working with my friends in Australia. It's okay, it's already tomorrow there. Well, I want to look and make sure using my world clock that I choose send later so it hits them at 11 o'clock in the morning and not 11 o'clock at night. So just being aware of that. The other thing that you might want to consider is just do a little studying. And use phrases and get used to a lot of vernacular and slang and things, and also customs and traditions from other countries. You're probably gonna do a lot of stuff on email, which is great. If you're gonna do things on Zoom, make sure you spend a little time getting to know the traditions and the customs of that country. Make sure you know the different greetings that potentially other countries use. And then if you happen to be someone that's speaking in a second language to you, to somebody else in another country, slow down. Everybody's pretty darn patient. After all, English is the international business language of choice by most folks. But most people working internationally have a lot of patience for those of us that are selling internationally, as long as we're respectful of their customs, their traditions, as well as their time zones. Then also just understand that certain countries like to negotiate more than others. Certain countries want you to be a lot more quick in your responses. And so just spend a little time understanding the customs and traditions of the other countries that you're going to be working in as well. Last thing for you, make a lot of notes in your CRM. I mean, different notes on how people respond to things, you know, those types of things. Recognize, friends, that selling internationally is a tremendous amount of fun. Traveling internationally, a tremendous amount of fun. But there's a few little idiosyncrasies there that you want to play with. So, Rial, best of luck to you in your international selling. I think you're going to be a huge success. Remember, friends, whether you're selling domestic or you're selling international, if this job was easy, Everybody be doing it, okay? And they're not. So friends, this is a great career. It'll feed your family for a lifetime. You're going to be selling international. Dig in, learn quite a bit, and enjoy that international selling process.
