Hey friends, Ryan Dohrn here, your Global Sales Coach. And this week our tip is all about managing your life to meetings. Now I know a lot of you, you work for a sales manager or a VP of Sales that's all about pounding out the phones. Hey, we've got to do what we're told, right? But when I'm managing my sales life, one of the things that I do systematically is manage myself to meetings. How many phone calls do I need to make? How many emails do I need to send? to get to a meeting. When I think about that math, I can really plan out my day because I need meetings to close deals. Without meetings, I'm not going to get to propose business and close deals. So I work myself backwards. How many meetings do I need to go on or have with a client before I'm going to close a deal? How many meetings do I need to have in total to get to goal? Then work myself backwards. You've heard me talk about sales math, and it can be a little complicated, but it's not too bad. Just ask yourself this basic question. How many prospects do I need to call on to get to X number of meetings? How many meetings do I need to close enough deals to get to goal? If I own my sales math, it all comes down to managing myself to meetings. If I can manage myself to meetings, then friends, I've got a pathway set for me to be highly successful. Never forget, friends, I mean, if this game of sales was easy, Everybody be doing it, and they're not. So we're either nuts, which I guess is possible, or friends, we found a career that'll feed our families for a lifetime. All right, friends, if I can be of help to you, to speak at your sales conference, whatever I can do to help you out, reach out over at ryandohrn.com. All right, we'll see you next week.
