In this concise sales‑training video, Ryan Dohrn advises salespeople to schedule their most important client meetings on Monday afternoons, Tuesdays, or Wednesday mornings. He explains that these slots provide the maximum number of business days for follow‑up before the weekend, whereas meetings later in the week often force follow‑up into the next week when prospects are distracted. Dohrn backs the recommendation with observations from tracking client meetings, noting higher close rates for the suggested days. He closes with a brief promotion of his coaching services and directs viewers to his website for further assistance.

Hey friends and fans, Ryan Dohrn here, your friendly neighborhood sales coach, and we're closing more business this week with this simple tip. Host your meetings on Monday afternoons, Tuesdays, or Wednesday mornings. That's it. Now I'm not suggesting that you don't work the rest of the week. I'm just suggesting that we've been tracking meetings, large and small, with clients. Monday mornings, not so good. Monday afternoons, pretty good, because you have Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday to follow up. Those of you that have meetings of significance on Tuesdays, great, because then you've got Wednesday, Thursday, Friday to follow up. Those of you that host meetings on Wednesday morning, well, you've got Thursday and Friday to follow up. Those of you that host meetings on Thursdays and Fridays, guess what? You almost always have to follow up the next week. And guess what happens when the weekend comes and the cocktails are flowing, the football game or whatever is going on? People are not worried about you. They're not worried about what you're pitching them. And that's why my clients are hosting their meetings of significance Monday afternoon, all day Tuesday, and the beginning of the day on Wednesday. Friends, if I'm giving you this advice, you can take it to the bank. I'm out on the street selling just like all of you, and I'm noticing that the more strategy I put in place, almost always, friends, the better that I do. Hey, we could spend all day on just this one little topic, so bring me in. Let me talk to your team. Let me preach at your sales conference, whatever you need from me. Because friends, if sales was easy, everybody'd be doing it, and they're not. We're not crazy, friends. This is a great career that'll feed your family for For a lifetime. All right, find out more about what I can do to help you and help your team over at ryandohrn.com. D-O-H-R-N, ryandohrn.com. See you next week. See you next week.
