Hey guys, thanks so much for stopping by. Ryan Dohrn here, internet consultant here in the internet zone asking and answering your internet strategy questions. Today I've got a question here from Ethan Richards in Virginia. Ethan, thanks so much for sending in your question. Ethan asks, Ryan, what can I do to increase the leads that are coming in through our sales landing page? Great question. I spend a lot of time when I'm working with companies large and small answering this question. It's not a simple answer. Because landing page conversions and landing page optimization in the sales space is very tricky and very complex. Let me give you a couple of thoughts. First, I encourage you to go buy the book called Landing Page Optimization. The author is Tim Ashe. I've been a part of several webinars that Tim has put on. He's a genius and his book is really, really good. Secondly, typically you're probably asking for too much data. You want to keep the form to 2 or 3, 4 points, maybe a first name, email address, perhaps the size of the company or maybe what they're interested in. Keep it simple, keep it sweet, and keep it short. The last thing is you really want to focus on, and what Tim calls it in this book and others have called it, is WIFM, what's in it for me. I mean, as the user, okay, what's in it for them? You want to really be clear on the benefits that they're going to get or what they're going to receive by giving you a sales lead. You want to assure them that you're not going to rent or sell their name. You want to make sure they feel very comfortable with you. Do you give trust and credibility on that page? Do you make sure that they really trust you and they know that their data is going to be protected? The last thing is that you may just have too complex of a sales landing page. It may just be too much data that people want to give, or you don't give them a promise of when you're going to contact them back. One of the things I hate most is when I fill out a sales lead form and I don't hear from somebody within, you know, 24 hours. I want to make sure that I get back with folks right away. So just make sure you're really clear. Ethan, thanks so much for your question here in the Internet Zone. Folks, if you have a question you'd like me to answer, I'm happy to do that right here.
