Ryan Dohrn says stop asking prospects to call you back. Instead, leave a voicemail that references a specific email subject line and asks them to reply by email. Prospects appreciate the reminder and are more likely to respond.

Hey friends, Ryan Dohrn here, your Global Sales Coach, and here comes your sales tip of the week. Hey, stop asking people to call you back. I mean, really, why are you asking people to call you back? Now, I'm not suggesting that you don't leave voicemails. I'm not suggesting you don't pick up the phone, but why are you asking people, especially those that don't know you, to call you back? I've got an idea for you. How about this? I use voicemail to drive an email reply. So instead of leaving a voicemail like, hi, it's Ryan Dohrn calling from such-and-such, would you give me a call back? My voicemail ignores my name, ignores where I'm calling from. I get right to the point. Hi Bob, or hi Julie, I just sent you an email about such-and-such with subject line so-and-so. If you could do me a solid, a favor, give me a quick reply to that email, I'd sure appreciate it. Subject line is such-and-such, and you don't need to call me back. Oh, sorry. By the way, it's Ryan Dohrn calling from such and such. Again, you don't need to call me back, but if you could reply to that email, I would sure appreciate it. Would you be surprised to know that people tell me all the time, and I'm not exaggerating, I'm prone to do that, by the way, people say all the time, hey, thanks for that voicemail. It reminded me of the email that you sent. Sales strategery. That's what we're working on in 2021. I'm Ryan Dohrn. Subscribe to us on the YouTube channel. Appreciate you there.
