Betsy from Texas. Where in Texas? Somebody tell me that. Betsy in Texas, your question. Hey Ryan, you've talked about using video in the prospecting process. I'm just unclear of the tools to use. And the process to use. So Betsy in Texas, I've got a couple of tools that I like to use. One of the first is Loom, L-O-O-M. It's a Chrome extension plugin. You get a certain number of videos for free until you need to store them and then you have to pay for it. No big deal. I also like Vidyard, is another one. Again, you're gonna get several for free and then when you want to upgrade, you want some more advanced settings and things like that, it's going to be an expense for you. But all of these are extremely affordable and the ones that are free are also good as well. All right, where do you use it in the process? Well, I like to use it in the teaching process when I'm marketing to people and explaining to them. I call it self-service sales. So you might do a little video that's about your company, you might do a little video that's about your services, you might do a little video that maybe includes some of your clients. That might be the third thing. You might be doing some type of testimonials. The other thing that I like to use, because they're all Chrome extensions, you can just record your video, drop it into an email, is I like to use it as a way to put a face with a name. So as a matter of practice, I practice when someone emails me a lead, asks for information, or even asks me a tough question. A lot of times I'll record them a quick video reply. Now you're gonna think I'm exaggerating, Betsy and everybody, because I'm in sales, I'm prone to exaggerate, I admit it. But almost every single time I record a video, a short one now, less than 2 minutes for sure, 2 minutes is like forever in video land, they almost always get watched. So I've had times where someone's asked me a complex question, I just hit record, It's easier to record an email reply, but use it in introductions. Use it as a part of your self-service sales. And again, you don't need a setup like this. I sit here in front of this mic and lights all the time. Make sure you watch my video, How Not to Be a Webcam Zombie. Okay, search for it over on YouTube so you look good, but you don't have to have a setup like this. Just be yourself, be authentic. And Betsy from Texas, I wish you the best of luck in using video to really add a new level of flavor and flair to your prospecting process. All right, keep those questions coming. Ryan at ryandohrn.com. And don't forget, friends, if sales was easy, everybody'd be doing it, and they're not. We're not crazy. It's a great career that'll feed your family for a lifetime. All right, friends, more listener questions next week.
