Hey friends, Ryan Dohrn here, your Global Sales Advisor. Here comes your sales tip and marketing tip of the week. All right, why aren't you doing videos? Let me ask you that. Oh Ryan, you know, people won't click on videos. They're afraid that it's going to be a virus. Really? Because people click on my videos all the time. You just clicked on this video. All right, sales videos are a little bit different. Whether you're using Loom or you're using Soapbox or CloudHQ for Gmail, whatever you're using, I find that people will watch videos. Now They don't want to talk to me. They don't want to talk to you as a salesperson. Remember that study online? 89-some percent of some people would rather go to the dentist than talk to a salesperson. But I find that people will watch short videos. Now, the subject line needs to be short video for you. In the body of the email, it needs to say, hi Julie, I recorded this very short video for you. But I like to take it one step further. Uh, hi Julie, I've been trying to get a hold of you, so to speak. And I thought I'd record you a quick video to tell you what I was calling about. That's the critical piece. And then say the video is very, very short. So whatever toolset that you use, get good at videos. You don't need a big old fancy mic and a fancy background, but get good at videos because I believe that videos work in the prospecting process, in the pitching process, and even in the follow-up and close process.
