Backstage interviews at The SaaStr Annual where multiple speakers discuss the power of software and the SaaS community. Key themes: authenticity in networking, the value of connecting and sharing challenges vulnerably, hunger among SaaS entrepreneurs for learning and community, and the emergence of SaaStr as a central gathering for enterprise software founders and builders.
I think people are at their best when they stop worrying about what other people think about them and you can just be yourself.
I just love where we are in an industry right now where software is changing the world and the builders of software are having an impact. However you connect with people, it has to be authentic. There are a lot of of great SaaS people here today. And in fact, I feel like this SASTER conference is almost overcoming Dreamforce as the ultimate place for sas. It's really awesome. SAS entrepreneurs just have a huge hunger for learning. They have a huge hunger for education, for networking and saast community together in a powerful way.
The ability to connect with people is invaluable and that is about the future. I hope that everyone at SASTER just comes here and really works to meet other people and share best practices and we vulnerable. Talk about your problems and your challenges. Don't just talk about how you're crushing it because no one wants to hear about that.
You can tell by the level of attendees and speakers that people coming to hear people talk, not just coming to present, because they see how compelling the people and the stories are and they really want to both celebrate and learn. And that's a really special and incredible combination.
It's such a focused, tight community. It's been underserved over the years, right? There's no one place anyone. All the SAS folks can kind of get together. So these are my peeps. It's really about helping these younger entrepreneurs here be successful as opposed to just, you know, hear about blah, blah, blah, blah. It is definitely the largest selection of people that like enterprise software on the planet. It's a great community of people that are all trying to build companies and learning from one another. And it's a pretty amazing movement to see. La.
