A short dialogue (YouTube transcript) about the role of incentives across a business—both internal (employees, salespeople) and external (customers). Speakers emphasize designing low-cost customer incentives (case studies, referrals) tied to customer desires and cite a successful referral program at Zenefits as an example.
Is correct. And this can be both. Internal incentives for employees can also be external incentives for customers.
Incentive for salespeople. Very important. But incentivization across the entire business is where I'd be focusing. You know, you can incentivize customers. There are things that cost your customers nothing, case studies, referrals, et cetera, and tying those to the things that they want. So, I mean, thinking about kind of every interaction you're having, and how do you make sure you're incentivizing the behavior that you want to come out of it? So there's things that cost nothing to somebody else but mean a lot to you. And how do you identify those and make them part of the process?
Yeah, I agree totally on customer incentives. We were at Zenefits together. We had a really successful customer referral program, and it was successful entirely because of the incentives.
